A warm and wonderful stay . We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the robes to lounge about . We loved the artwork and the street paintings that were being created . Highly recommended this cozy spot

Amy's airbnb is in a great location. Right on the New River. I could sit on the deck and hear the falls/rapids. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of spices, coffee and tea. The wifi was excellent. Amy made sure all was comfortable. It snowed one day while I was there and early in the morning she placed ice melt on the stairs. I will go again.

We had a great stay for a long weekend of skiing at nearby White Grass. The apartment looked brand new and was exactly as described with everything we needed. The bed was VERY comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the extra touches (plenty of outlets/charging ports, games, blankets, etc.). We'd definitely stay here again.

I stay at a lot of Airbnb's with my job and this place is hands down my favorite! I feel like I am at home while staying there. The hosts are great and tend to any and all needs. I look forward to staying there again when working in the area.

Cute apartment! I stayed there in the winter, but the proximity to the river would be great in warm weather. I appreciated having access to extra towels. The corner shower may be challenging for people with a big frame.

We appreciate how kind & accommodating our hosts were. We celebrated Christmas with our family at this apartment and it was a great space for it. We cooked, ate and were very merry! Thank you for ensuring our time was special & memorable. We would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful Christmas on a beautiful property. Overall, everything went well and Ken was very responsive, just wished it would have snowed. Only complaints are that the property is not exclusively private to your party as listed, house needs some updates (electrical), and all the instructions (directions to the cabin, water, heat) can be a bit overwhelming for someone that just wants to arrive and relax. We shared the trails and creek with Ken’s other Air BnB property. Both listings boast private 50 acres and outdoor amenities. Recommend listing “need 4x4 vehicle during inclement weather” and “may share property acres and amenities with one other Air BnB”. Overall, the family and I enjoyed unplugging, the absolute surreal views and haunted trails, fresh eggs and feeding the animals, and the hikes/ATV rides provided by the trail systems.

The house was beautiful and fully functional for our family of 8. She provided extra linen if needed and fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs. I would highly recommend this home and will love to go back again.

A beautiful century old home with a fabulous view. The place was in great shape and had everything you need. We celebrated Thanksgiving with 10 guests. The kitchen easily accommodated the preparation of a Thanksgiving feast. Dining room was spacious with extra card tables and chairs. The home has a warm charm with beautiful plush carpets to help keep you warm on cold days. 

When asked how Robert describes his property, I sincerely doubted how to respond. The photos don't show the house as it is. I liked the images before reserving the place. However, I was surprised when I entered the house and found the reality superior to the published pictures. I have always wondered how unique the whole experience was, not only the house but also the presentation of the "home." I was corrected, but I still think that Robert lives there, and when somebody rents, he escapes in a rush, leaving behind everything he daily lives. Robert, thank you, be well, and cheers...

Hi! Very cute cabin, right on the river! Everything as described, and fully stocked! Which is helpful, because you are remote, and within the national quiet zone! They have wifi and a landline, so once at the cabin you have internet/phone access. But you have to plan ahead, because you may only have it at the cabin for several hours around it! Lots to do - even when it was extremely cold while we were there! Rode the train in the snow and toured/walked around the radio telescopes! If you’re looking to be in this area, we recommend this cabin!! We would stay there again if in the area!

I took my wife for a quick birthday getaway on a snowy january weekend. We love berkley springs as we only live 45 mins away., but i wanted a secluded place to spend the weekend just outside of Berkeley. What a great spot, we plan to return this summer w the kiddos and take advantage of the stream and water below the house. Cant wait super excited to come back. Thanks kristen for your flexibility. Much appreciated!!!

Very responsive. Heavy snow the weekend we stayed and she offered very late check out. Nice house, pleasant neighbors.
