Smoking friendly vacation rentals in West Virginia

The apartment was thoughtfully appointed and scrupulously clean. I hesitate to add this, because I felt like McKayla was doing me a special favor that she might not be able to do often. My situation was a bit atypical because I was renting the place for a young friend who was moving to town for school. He had to arrive before his apartment was ready and, well, he's young and inexperienced. McKayla was so supportive, helpful, and understanding. We needed to unexpectedly extend his stay and she was still flexible and really wonderful. I will sing the praises of this apartment and our terrific host! great for a longer term stay and very comfortable! McKayla: you have fans who think you rock!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

Charles and staff were very friendly! Had a small issue with the hot water and they immediately assisted me! (Just had to wait for the hot water to reach our room, it was working fine!) They are working on renovations, but the beds were clean and comfortable. Room has a small fridge, but no microwave for anyone planning on that. No coffee pot in the room but it was offered to me several times in the lobby. Room also had a dresser, Roku tv, and small closet. Felt very safe! They write a local newspaper complete with comics and recipes and gave me a copy which was a neat addition and souvenir for my kiddo! Will definitely be back if in the area again! Cannot beat the price for the stay! Thanks for having us!!!

Syd was so considerate as to meet us with an umbrella because it was raining when we arrived! She is truly a delight and a great host. Her space is homey and welcoming. We would love to stay again :)

Loved our stay here! Convenient location to the city. the backyard is amazing, the deer visited it everyday. Everything is as listed. The water got hot, the space was comfortable, minimalist $ had essential cookware. Parking is limited. There is a 1 car wide driveway & an area for narrow street parking which comfortably parks 2 (assuming no one is parked in the middle). There are long term residents who stay in the top half of the residence, who clearly need parking as well. You can count out the driveway & cross your fingers they didn't park in the middle of the street parking & you've got a space! (if ur vehicle is small, you probably don't need to worry at all). Those residents do have 2 dogs. So if you are bringing dogs, be considerate. You can hear walking, dogs playing, water moving, etc from upstairs, which didn't bother me. There's no salt/p, cooking oil, anything like that. The post is transparent about all those things. I really enjoyed my stay, and would stay again!!!

Cute little place to stay. Out of town, so not as much commotion.

Our family was in the area to ride Hatfield McCoy’s Ivy Branch Trail System and this house was perfect for our family of 8, but could sleep 12! Lots of room for parking several trucks with trailers. Bub was very fast to answer when we had a question. We would stay again if in the area!

Matt's place was easy to access, close to the stadium 🏟 and comfortable! He was a fabulous host. He was responsive to our questions and easy to communicate with! Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house is beautifully decorated with something special and interesting in every room. We enjoyed the large porch and yard. The house was exactly as described. The location is perfect to tour the historic towns nearby and Harpers Ferry!

Katrina is an excellent hostess. She responds any questions quickly This house is the best place that we’ve visited, we were able to find everything we thought, the kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, there are a lot of table games to spend time indoor. My family and I love it, we’re planning to rental this house each time that we visit Glenville

I loved the cabin, it is very well located near the mountain for skiing and the river behind gives you a lot of peace, they always answered my questions on time and were always willing to help! It seemed like a perfect rest to me.

Yvonne was very intentional on how the house was set up for us. Everything had a place, it was very clean and organized, the kitchen had everything we needed and all drawers were labeled. Great place to stay for our girls weekend getaway.

We were a group traveling for work and Sandra was very accommodating to handle our unique scenario. The location was within a few miles of the work site and was a great value for our 3 day stay.
