Bungalow vacation rentals in West Somerset District

Another lovely stay at The Glade. Such a comfortable cottage in a great location, it’s no wonder we keep returning. Garry is a great host, very responsive and the provisions and treats he leaves for his guests are most welcome (we always forget the milk!)

Perfectly suited our needs. Clean and comfortable. Spacious and airy. A perfect base with a nice private garden area for breakfast (and dinner etc!) outside. Watched butterflies and listened to the birdsong each morning and unravelled. The fact that you park a little away from property was actually a bonus as it was just so peaceful. Can offload bits a bit nearer and then park in the car park by the cricket club. The beach and town of Instow is family friendly. Quiet and clean with a couple of pub restaurants and the weekend music type bar nearby that closes by 9pm so no unwanted noise. Great chilled holiday vibes. And local beaches such as Woolacombe and Saunton fab for swimming and body boarding. Wonderful place 😊

We had a great stay in West Bay, the pictures don’t do the space justice as it was far bigger than we thought, which was great! Very clean and great location- just a short walk from restaurants and the beach ✨

Unfortunately we only managed a few days of our Christmas week's break at the bungalow due to family illness. However, we were so glad that we did get there for the end of the holiday as it was the perfect peaceful place to relax and de-stress. The dog was also in absolute heaven with the big enclosed garden and fab beach walks right on the doorstep . Annabel was very helpful too and we hope to return before long.

Perfect location and incredible views from the lounge window. Amazing sunsets too! The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and settees. Outdoor space was also vast - great for outdoor dining/bbqs. Easy access to beaches - Woolacombe Bay as well as Barricane Beach for a curry! Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Welcome pack was greatly received, thank you! Great communication and very helpful! Hope to be back again!

Fabulous house Fabulous host beds very comfy house very homely, very clean and warm,great location for sightseeing went to St Michael's Mount, Eden project, Finicular railway all not to far a drive from Kam's Moran's restaurant exceptional, had a lovely takeaway from Hong Kong Dinner. The hot tub was amazing, any problems very quick response from Kam, would definitely return lots more to see.

Idyllic lodge peaceful and secluded, nestled in well maintained grounds. Well kept, fully stocked kitchen all new appliances. Lovely, helpful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely return.

My family and I had a great stay - excellent location, great outside space, everything had been thought of. Beach parking permit and dog bowl/towel were hugely appreciated. Highly recommend.

Lovely hideaway in the hills.

We absolutely loved our stay her, it truly felt like home and is definitely one of our favourite getaways. I arrived for a weekend break with my wife and our 3-year-old daughter, and it was perfect for all of us. Our little one was completely in her element—dancing, playing, and feeling right at home from the moment we arrived. The trampoline was a fantastic touch and kept her entertained for hours. The layout of the place was spot-on for a small family stay. We especially enjoyed the piano and the hot tub—both added something special to our time there. If you're looking for somewhere a little different, full of charm, character, and fun, then this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We booked for my husband's 60th and had friends join us. The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean, loads of space so didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and everything even down to a food processor should you need it. The pool table and dart board was a hit with my 15 year son and the hot tub was great, even sat in it whilst it was -1 outside. All in all we had a great weekend chilling. Definitely will be back. Lovely house, plenty of room for a 2 bed. Very clean and tidy throughout. Good location, only 10 min walk to village and about 15 min to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This was our second time staying here, Sarah was super responsive, collaborative and thoughtful. The beds were comfy, place is well stocked as always - more than enough fire wood, kindling etc really warm inside and delightfully comfortable inside. This place is well designed and decorated and has just the right amount of everything you need. Also the location is on point! Close to 5 star coffee spots like hotel coffee & nourish, 5 mins drive to the beach and great cafes & restaurants less than 5 min walk away. We will probably be back again. Thanks Sarah 🙏🏽
