Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Berkshire

We had a lovely stay at Lucia's and felt right at home. It's a very peaceful area and great dog walking routes from the back of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a good meal with and it was super cosy in the living room space on a winters evening. Beds very comfortable and shower pressure spot on! Fantastic location as it was very easy to drive into Salisbury centre. Lucia was also very kind to give us an early check in and a late check out, definitely recommend!

Want to add ana amzing review for Ian's property. Communication was speedy and efficient. The location was great (near De vere estate where we had our company summer event) the property was amazing! Very clean and tidy just as advertisedm. You could add a hot tub to that massive garden and charge more but just rating this property 5/5 based on my stay.

The host graciously accepted a very last-minute 5-night booking and jumped on making arrangements for our stay. The property was very clean and tidy and exactly as described. Everything worked properly and the host provided detailed access and parking instructions that were invaluable. The Estate is very peaceful this time of year (December) and we had near-solo use of the Spa facilities and on site restaurant when we wanted them. As a dog-friendly property a secure/enclosed rear space would be welcome, but the private Estate no doubt has limitations that might make this hard. Bear this in mind if your dog tends to wander or head straight into the Thames! You’ll need to remember to keep them on a lead/line in the rear garden. Note that there’s plenty of off lead space next to the lake a couple of minutes walk away actoss the road. We re really enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, which was easier to use than expected, and we made use of the car charger - both are perfect additions.

Excellent location within easy distance of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. Easy to check in and flexible on check in and check out. Very well appointed and kitted out accommodation which was very clean and lacked nothing. Comfortable beds and linens. Very sociable space. Helpful, responsive and informative hosts. The eight of us had a fantastic stay in such a lovely house.

A lovely property to stay in, little added extras made the stay more comfortable

I stayed at this property with my family and easily one of the best Airbnb I have stayed in terms of comfort, location, surroundings, hospitality, communication from host. The hosts are gem of people who are very thoughtful in providing amenities and services to their guests. They had complementary welcome kit and had two pages with instructions to use listed amenities of the house as well as local grocery and food recommendation. I always had very proactive and positive conversations with Laura and Mike. I would recommend this airbnb to family (esp with kids) and friends. It is so relaxing that you can just relax and bbq in the backyard.

Fantastic value for money. Wish we could have stayed for much longer. Tastefully furnished, incredibly clean, spacious, great heating, light and airy, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, well-equipped kitchen, lovely decked balcony: we loved every moment spent in the property. Fantastic location in the heart of the old high-street of Great Missenden and close to other beautiful old towns and stunning countryside. Thank you!

Lovely cottage in a lovely village. Good recommendations from Didi. Very good host, who was very responsive and helpful. Cottage was a great base to explore the Cotswolds, only a short drive to Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Cirencester. Northleach is a very picturesque village and a beautiful place to stay.

Danny's place was ideal for our Fundraisers, three of which were staying. Danny was quick to communicate and we booked at fairly short notice and yet he was still able to accommodate an earlier check-in and a seamless stay. We would highly recommend his place as it's great value for money.

The accomodation itself was ideal, clean and homely but more importantly Francesca was so friendly and helpful. We certainly intend to stay again.

Great little studio next to Cheltenham centre. Only 15min walk. The studio is really peaceful and with everything that you need. We spent 4 nights there and it was perfect for us.

Brett's place was easy to find, we needed parking for a 2nd car & Brett kindly organised a permit in the street for us. The pictures matched the flat, was lovely that there was milk in the fridge & tea & coffee to start us off after a long journey. The kitchen was well equipped. Location was fab - easy walk to everywhere. Brett was easy to contact before & during the stay. A lovely weekend break catching up with friends - hopefully we can return one day!

Paul’s listing was just what we needed. Easy access to all transportation, rail, bus, airport. Walking distance to grocery store and local town. Paul was available for questions and very friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us . Given opportunity I would certainly stay there again. It provided us with a convenient , comfortable location to attend a family reunion.

Stayed here for 4 days earlier this month and found it to be a really comfortable and well-equipped holiday home. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great location - ease of access to train station and public transport. Parking space right outside the property was ideal. All in all a great property and an ideal base to explore the area.

A great little air bnb with all the facilities you could need. Great space and was very welcoming. The milk in the fridge and biscuits were a lovely touch along with some books to read. The only downside was that the outside noise at night from traffic was loud but I noticed it more because I live in a rural location. A great stay overall

The property was lovely, exactly what we needed as multiple families staying in the same place. There were additional facilities, that were invaluable as we traveled with a baby. Very close to the town centre made travel very easy and the property is in a lovely quiet estate. Tessa was fantastic at providing information quickly and effectively and couldn't have been more helpful. A lovely stay, highly recommended.

lovely cosy apartment, very clean, near local shops and restaurants. There are lots of steps, but this was made very clear in the property description and we did not find it a problem. lovely and warm, unfortunately the weather was bad when we stayed, so we were unable to use the terrace space which was a shame.

The flat was spacious and clean. It was well located near the town and train station, and came with a parking space. Solmaz was responsive and helpful, and check in/out was simple. We would definitely stay here again.

I was in Cheltenham for 3 nights and my stay at Serra’s place was the icing on the cake for my terrific weekend. The flat was a perfect jumping off point - super close to the high street but also far enough away to be quiet. The flat itself is beautifully appointed and a very comfortable/lovely place to stay. Everything was perfect. My family and I loved the apartment specially its location because its walkable from the tourist spots, restaurants and grocery. Parking space was a bonus and Andrew let us park our car after check out when we explored the area. :) Thank you so much.

Compact and comfortable. Nice and clean. Beautiful garden and nature surroundings, whilst being not far away from cafes and shops. Peaceful. I loved waking up to the morning views out the front window.
