What can I say Evelyn and Ian’s home was absolutely beautiful, a perfect location, immaculate and communicating with Evelyn following our luggage being lost at Heathrow was second to none, she really went out of her way to help us ensuring that we were still able to do the things we’d planned. I’d definitely recommend this beautiful home and wonderful hosts

Great flat and great location

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place is so nice and well laid out with everything you need for a little weekend away. Winchester town center is a short drive away, unfortunately storm Darragh ruined our Christmas market experience but we will definitely return again! thanks Karen.

Very nice stay, lovely place

My girlfriend and I had a lovely week in the apartment, which is in a secluded location but with easy access to the centre of Oxford. It was also great for working remotely, with fast WiFi and all the amenities needed to live comfortably.

Really lovely place, they have done a great job condensing everything you need into a the space but you had room to breathe and everything felt homely. Really easy access to public transport making travelling to the centre easy and a quick drive to places like Blenheim Palace if that takes your fancy.

Lovely, clean, bright and spacious apartment. Everything we needed was provided. Good bus services into Oxford and we were able to park at the apartment throughout our stay. Communication with Tom was excellent, he was able to accommodate all of our requests. Highly recommended, thank you Tom.

Lovely quiet place to stay, right next to Jane Austen's house! Walking distance from Alton for the Watercress Line and some great independent shops and cafes, including a great bookshop. A good base for visiting the area and seeing family, the annex had everything we needed. James and Malene were welcoming and left us to it, which was perfect.

The host graciously accepted a very last-minute 5-night booking and jumped on making arrangements for our stay. The property was very clean and tidy and exactly as described. Everything worked properly and the host provided detailed access and parking instructions that were invaluable. The Estate is very peaceful this time of year (December) and we had near-solo use of the Spa facilities and on site restaurant when we wanted them. As a dog-friendly property a secure/enclosed rear space would be welcome, but the private Estate no doubt has limitations that might make this hard. Bear this in mind if your dog tends to wander or head straight into the Thames! You’ll need to remember to keep them on a lead/line in the rear garden. Note that there’s plenty of off lead space next to the lake a couple of minutes walk away actoss the road. We re really enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, which was easier to use than expected, and we made use of the car charger - both are perfect additions.

This is a fantastic place to stay great lay out and clean .it has everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed , also sarah is very helpful and quick to respond So would definitely stay here again 👍🏻

What an absolutely amazing place! We’ve had the best weekend. We were met By Monty who gave us a quick tour but the instructions were very clear. The photos on the site don’t do the place justice! It’s truly amazing. Great walks nearby and lovely pubs. Home cinema went down well with the kids and the large fire was fabulous to come home to after our walks. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s not a party house as it’s full of quirky antiques and heirlooms but it feels just like home.

Loved our stay. Weather was awful so couldn't take advantage of the outside area or walks, but still enough to do. Uber easy to use from the location. Accommodation was spotless, warm and comfortable. Instructions clear and easy to follow. Easy to find. Would definitely consider coming back in better weather. 😎

The Stables is both a very comfortable and functional home. There is a sense of retreat here whether lazing in front of the log burner or on the sun trap patio. The location is both private and peaceful and yet on the doorstep of so much that the area has to offer. Highly recommend.

A fantastic stay in Charlbury, it was a gorgeous house, perfect for a big family get together, great location - just a short walk to the local pubs. The house was really spacious, it was great to have ground floor access to bedrooms and bathrooms for one guest in a wheelchair. Nick was a fantastic host, extremely helpful and quick at responding. Lovely place for our family gathering. Headington shops within reach. We had a lovely, memorable time celebrating my mother’s birthday with enough sleeping space for 10. Spacious kitchen, spacious rooms, very modern bathrooms. Having 3 reception rooms was definitely a plus. The front and back garden are beautiful and spacious although we didn’t spend time outside due to the weather. Highly recommend!

Janes accommodation was very welcoming and pristine. The festive touches were lovely and her directions too find the accommodation was perfect. She was the perfect host and very flexible and even gave recommendations for the local area.

We had a wonderful stay at Charlotte’s place, such a beautiful part of the world! It felt like a home from home to stay here whilst we attended a friends wedding nearby. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

What a gorgeous stay! The barn was perfect for our small family. It was clean, modern, homely and included all we needed. The decor was lovely and really suited the feel of the barn. Perfect surroundings. We especially appreciated the guest book listed with local places to eat, it came in really handy and the recommendations were spot on. Will definitely be booking again. This place was a gem. Time of arrival was great as we met Sarah who showed us to the front door and let us in. Very comfortable and self contained. As we had our own front door we could come and go as we pleased. Very pleased with this Airb&b.

Stopped over for another three days at Harvey & Maggies gorgeous flat. Though its because I come to Witney on 'Granny Duty' I feel like I've had a real break. The flat is beautiful, and in such a convenient location whether you are visiting Witney for a break or there for family reasons its just perfect. I will be back!
