Great host, nice appartment with good facilities, plenty of good restaurants nearby and tuktuks always around the corner to take you anywhere else. Pleasant stay!

This place was exactly as described in the listing and I can confirm that all the pictures posed on the listing are accurate. There is a huge grocery store across the street from this place and it was really convenient to pick up what ever food items we needed. My wife and I worked full time on US Eastern Standard Time while staying here and we often used Uber Eats very late at night, there were tons of restaurants available for late night meal delivery. Communication with the host was excellent and they were very responsive. I would stay here again without hesitation and can highly recommend this place.

Great location, spacious apartment, rooftop pool pool overlooking the sea view and gym. The apartment has everything you need. There are no interruptions with light — there is a generator. Great fast wifi.

Sanjaya’s place was just perfect! It looks exactly like the pictures and was a very comfortable stay for me and my family. There are multiple balcony’s from which you can see the beach which is a lovely view to wake up to, and the security downstairs were always helpful. Definitely would recommend!

Lakmali was a very helpful host. She inquired often if we needed any help or if any problems with the apt. The place was clean and everything worked in the apt. It was a nice stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at Vasanthi's apartment, and it was truly a fantastic experience! From the moment we booked, Vasanthi was incredibly helpful, promptly answering all our questions and ensuring we felt right at home. The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully modern, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The stunning view added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay, and we loved having our own private space to unwind after a day of exploring. Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

Ranil’s villa is absolutely stunning. Not only is it in a fabulous location right on the most beautiful beach, it is huge with a beautiful internal courtyard garden, spacious rooms and lots of beautiful furniture. It’s really on a completely different scale! The pool is amazing, really big and wonderfully warm. In addition Piyal the villa manager and the team provide an amazing service and experience and Piyal was really super helpful. We would definitely highly recommend this villa and we hope to stay again one day.

Madampa House is a beautiful villa, full of wonderful surprises, from the view of the lake, the swimming pool, the dining areas and the wildlife! On top of this Jayantha and the staff were excellent, attending to every detail with perfection. The Sri Lankan food was so tasty and the hospitality was 1st class. Jayantha arranged an itinerary packed with wonderful experiences that our family will cherish forever. Thanks for everything and I really hope we return soon 😁

It's a beautiful house located in a peaceful residential area. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for longer but I would definitely recommend this place for stay if anyone is looking to stay in mount lavinia. property is pristine and very well maintained. matched the description and the hosts are wonderful.

We stayed with our 3 kids and we really enjoyed it. We have stayed in Mount Lavinia every time we come to Sri Lanka but this was the best place we’ve stayed at so far. House was very nice, private pool, spacious garden and everything is within walking distance. Nilanka was very flexible when we changed our stay 2 times but it was never a problem. We would highly recommend Samudra House!

Ms. Tusitha was an amazing host and made sure our stay was comfortable. It felt like home away from home. She went extra mile to make sure we felt at home. The apartment was cozy, clean and very comfortable.

The apartment was beautiful, the room with the double bed was super large and I loved the fact that each room had its own bathroom. Raees was very kind and a super good communication because we arrived separately. The building and the neighborhood were good. I strongly advise this apartment. The photos are totally representative of reality. It’s even better, in reality, it's more spacious than in the photos.

Highly recommended! Shiffan was a great host and gave valuable travel tips for the weeds trip in Sri Lanka. The apartment is as pictured, some maintenance work would be needed (sliding door, wardrobe) but totally fine for the price. Beach and restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed with 2 other people. Tamara was a great host. She was very helpful and communicative. She was particularly helpful as we navigated our airport cab driver who needed additional directions. You get what you see in the photos on the listing. A note for people with big bags or luggage: you will have to use stairs to get to the rooms (one room is on the 2nd floor along with the kitchen and dining, and the other two are on the 3rd) The rooms had towels and linens, comfy beds, although could do with a bit more dusting prior to people checking in. Tamara left bottled water for us in the fridge as well, which we appreciated. You will have all the basic necessities. While it's not a major issue, we were surprised by the open holes in the bathroom showers. They are high enough to give you privacy, but open out into the side of the building with no screen or cover. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a safe place to sleep and leave your things, as you explore Colombo.
