Great place close to town! We were happy to see they allowed dogs!!! Owner was accommodating and let us extend our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Newtown Retreat! From the start, Chris was an exceptional host—very communicative, kind, and always attentive to our comfort. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the historic district and just a short walk to the town center. Plus, having a designated parking spot made things so much easier. When we return to Staunton, we’ll definitely be looking for one of Chris's properties again. Thank you, Chris, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Dlawar has a lovely place that is exactly as I expected. Neat, clean, just enough space for one person to relax comfortably for a few days. Lots to do and see nearby, and easy to get out into the country or into the city of Harrisonburg. I would definitely stay again if I return to the area.

Super soft very large bed with cozy bedding. Large kitchen area. Good sized bathroom with plenty of extra towels & linens. I’m a very light sensitive sleeper & room was pitch black - love it! Dina was very flexible with our late check in & is great with communication.
