We had a great time and the cabin was just as photographed. The kitchen was pretty well appointed and it was very nice to have the place stocked with linens, towels, hand soap etc. The entrance road is a windy gravel mountain road. In bad weather it could have been challenging. In springtime weather I was fine in my sedan. We were there for peace and quiet and to have a variety of hiking trails within a shortish drive. I was very pleased with our stay. The check in and check out procedures were very easy and MUCH appreciated.

Loved the house. The space was so well designed and comfortable. The master bed and linens were wonderfully plush and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely recommend. For a tiny house, the place felt much bigger due to the creative use of space.

Wonderful stay! The house is thoughtfully decorated and arranged. Kitchen small but very well equipped- we cooked two breakfasts and two dinners and had everything needed to do so. Lots of extras t/o the house as well. Like soap, shampoo, towels, coffee, and snack bin! We loved the porch while watching and listening to the river with a glass of wine. Parks are both so close and fun for little ones. Thank for sharing your place. We will be back.

There are no words to describe how impressive this place is; it exceeded our expectations. We began our honeymoon tour here, and from the first day we felt like we were in paradise. The views are truly breathtaking. The house is exceptional in every way, the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. At night, the stargazing is unmissable from the house's terrace. The interior of Wintergreen offers many secondary benefits, and we were able to enjoy the sunset from one of the highest viewpoints. There are also short trails that can be done super quickly, like the one to Upper Shamokin Falls. Don't forget to check out the lookout on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is also very close and has different trails as well. Grand Caverns was truly exceptional. Our host was always very attentive and concerned if we needed anything. Excellent communication. My husband and I congratulate them for their luxurious hospitality. We will return in the fall to enjoy the changing of the leaves.

The Peony Cottage was better than what the pictures portrayed. The hosts were very friendly, the beds and linens were nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage was extremely clean, had a thoughtful layout, was in a quiet setting, and had plenty of wood for the outdoor fire pit. The hosts thought of every nice amenity including fresh tulips on the kitchen table! Highly recommend!

We felt right at home, everything was pristine and clean, peaceful, beautiful tucked away private location. The amenities were everything we needed to have the ease of a getaway where we didn’t have to worry about packing extra items. From baby equipment to the game room we felt like it fit all of our needs perfectly. I appreciated all the thoughtful details that are put in place to make sure you truly are comfortable as a family traveling. Loved the gazebo and firepit on the deck!
