Treehouse vacation rentals in Vermont

Absolutely magical!!! My partner and I stayed at Rik’s this weekend and had the most beautiful and relaxing time at his treehouse. The photos really don’t do the place justice - Rik’s creativity and craftsmanship in these 2 treehouses is absolutely amazing. It’s like staying in a human sized fairy house!! Walking around the property gives you a wonderful feeling of peace and really connects you with the natural surroundings and wildlife. We highly recommend coming here if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Our only regret is actually planning activities during the day instead of spending our days at Rik’s. We’re already planning on returning and making the most of the quiet retreat he’s created.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the tree house. It was perfect for a couple. The hot tub was awesome. It was wonderful to relax outside surrounded by nature. The house is unique, well appointed and clean. We stayed two nights and wished we stayed longer.

Peter's treehouse was a great find. An absolutely beautiful view of the mountains and lots of privacy. Just as described on Airbnb. would definitely stay again.

The Vermont Retreet is absolutely worth a trip! During the winter (when we stayed), Derek will give you a ride to your treehouse with his UTV. He is super personable and friendly! The treehouse was literally magical. The bathroom was designed as the Hall of Prophecies and had lights coming from the prophecies. There are plenty of pots and pans for cooking and a local grocery store in Rochester about 5 miles down the road. We used the reading nook downstairs as a movie nook with a laptop... it was sooo peaceful and had plenty of outlets and blankets. The views are spectacular and while there are several treehouses all of them are at least 800 square feet apart with plenty of privacy!

I booked a space for a weekend of skiing at Stowe, its about 30 minutes from the mountain itself. It was an amazing experience overall, being secluded, from any sense of civilization, to the second floor bedroom, making you feel like you were sleeping in the treetops. Mike was fantastic, extremely responsive and friendly. Even when I was staying there, there was a risk of freezing weather overnight, so Mike made sure to check the shower equipment so i could bathe whenever i wanted. This place was exactly what I needed for my escape from my hectic life in NYC. I would highly recommend it, and I plan on booking it again if I come back to stowe in the future.

What a fantastic unique fun property! We appreciated the clear instructions, we knew exactly what to expect and loved the surprise extra thoughtful touches. Brett was friendly, respectful, and responsive. We loved the binder with all the recommendations in it and guest booking (reading where people were from and what they did and enjoyed about the cozy clean Treehouse)!

loved getting to stay in the treehouse. if you're up in Woodstock solo or as a couple, perfect accommodation! be prepared for the walk to the bathroom, but that's treehouse living for you. if you know what you're getting into, it's a fun little adventure!

The Treehouse was truly peaceful! Amazing views of the lake and just far enough away to be super quiet. Donna was so responsive and considerate!
