Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Vermont

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

Zelia's place was better than expected. We were so lucky there was availability! Do not hesitate to book. Absolutely recommend.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

5 of us stayed at David's place for our family ski vacation and all of us loved the location and the house. the house was as described and has so many linens and amenities. it's 30 minutes to Stratton Ski Report and 5 minutes to downtown Manchester where you can find anything, including Shaws supermarket. It's a great location and house and we are looking forward to come back to this place next year for our family vacation. Thanks

This is a very comfortable and pleasant B&B in a well-preserved and beautiful old house--they had a little guide to the history in each room. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the temperature in the rooms is nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious. The best thing about it was the hosts: they are very friendly and attentive. You get the impression they really like their guests and enjoy sharing their beautiful home. This place is an absolute gem.

This was my 4th time staying at Richard's place. He is a wonderful, friendly host. He has a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking utensils one could possibly need, which I truly appreciate. Beautiful wooded location on a rural mountain road. I hope that I will have the chance to stay at Richard's place and ski Stowe many more times in the future!

Kim and Phil were sweet, kind, and responsive. The breakfasts were amazing and the hot tub lovely after a day of skiing. It is right on the road, but it was very comfortable and quiet. Clean and delightful and right near many good restaurants. Totally recommend!

We loved our time at John and Sues. The area was absolutely stunning (but a little hard to find in the dark if you follow google maps instead of Sues directions) it was very cozy and picturesque and Queeny the goat was a favorite. We hope to go back someday and bring our kids with us.

The Wilmington Inn is always a favorite place to stay! It's always quiet and so convenient to restaurants and the shops--we'll be back!

We stayed at Sallie’s bed and breakfast for the weekend and went skiing in Killington. The place was beautiful and warm. Sallie was a great host and makes amazing French toast!

We had a short, but lovely time. The place is homy and cozy. Fresh pancakes in the morning was delicious :) Nice chatting with the people present. We will come back !

If you want to ski at Jay and skip all the other stuff, get a good nights sleep, wake up early to an amazing breakfast and great coffee, and easily get to the mountain for first chair, and then sit in a hot tub under the stars with your own beverage from the refrigerator inside the kitchen that you can also use, then this is your place to stay! Feels like you’re at home but someone else is doing all the chores!

We stayed 3 nights at Willow Pond B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The property is probably the most pristine and scenic we've stayed at for an Air BnB. We were hosted by Saskia, the owner's daughter. Saskia was very welcoming, provided wonderful tips and baked delicious pastries. The B&B was super clean and comfortable. The house looked out onto Willow Pond, Le Duc Farm and rolling fields. We enjoyed a stroll on the grounds the first day before heading into Burlington, VT, about 20 minutes away. We visited the farmer's market and rented bikes to explore the Burlington bike path and Colchester Causeway, a trail that takes you into Lake Champlain. After 20 miles of biking, we stopped at the Skinny Pancake for a crepe and coffee. That evening, we ate at Paulines, per Saskia's recommendation, which was a short drive from Willow B&B. The food was top notch. My husband had the schnitzel and I had the scallops. We enjoyed some wine, soup and salad and the price was very reasonable. The next day we drove to Camel's Hump State Park about 35 minutes drive and hiked to the summit. Amazing views. On our final day we visited Shelburne Farms before heading back home to Massachusetts. We would definitely love to visit Willow B&B again, next time with the family. It is conveniently located, has amazing views and welcoming accommodations. We came to Vermont to look at the beautiful fall colors and for a Vermont experience. Staying in a stately house that originates from the 1700’s gave us both. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs sitting area is elegant with plenty of room to spread out read like a country squire. Mary makes an excellent breakfast and is accommodating about when and what to eat. Be sure to try the apple pancakes. Manchester with all its fine restaurants is 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the Wayside Country store is right down the road. The view out the back of the house is outstanding. We highly recommend this house for a Vermont getaway.

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

What a lovely and beautiful location amongst the woods... perfect living space, a wonderful kitchen with everything we could want or need. Sharon is the consummate host. We absolutely love being there and our 2 dogs do too! We can't wait for our next visit!!

This was our second time staying at Leanne’s! We came two years ago and have not stopped talking about it since. When we got married we knew we had to come back to celebrate! Leanne’s cooking is impeccable, creative and delicious. The house is beautiful and she really makes you feel at home. She provides the best recommendations for restaurants, breweries and activities in the area. It is an absolute pleasure to stay and we can’t wait to be back!

This is an idyllic setting for a beautiful home with super friendly and caring hosts. The large house, a retreat center with facilities for large groups, sits on a lake overlooked by a gorgeous modern treehouse. Tom and Ravi are excellent hosts and I enjoyed chatting and eating with them and learning about their vision for the property, communal and artistic, with nourishing food fresh from local farms, and a mix of interesting guests. This is the kind of place where you can truly unwind in natural green, wander the extensive grounds and connect socially if that suits you. The beds are comfortable, each room with its own bathroom, and the living rooms are spacious and with walls of books and artwork. Cannot recommend this place more highly. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t hesitate!

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!
