House vacation rentals in Vermont

Beautiful views from inside and out. Extremely quiet and peaceful location. Home was comfortable and had more then everything needed. Small towns and lakes near by were great to visit and short drives.

My family and I just returned home from a wonderful ski vacation! The home was just as pictured and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful!The house was immaculate and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We had a great time skiing at Mt.Snow (30 minutes),exploring Brattleboro (12 minutes),preparing meals together and just spending quality time with each other! On another note….. Cat and Ed were very responsive and were always available if we had any questions! My family and I are already looking forward to returning next year ! Thank you again for EVERYTHING! Carol and Gene

We stayed for a weekend at Kelley and Jason’s home in Vermont and everything went great. From check in, to the local recommendations, to the quiet setting, we enjoyed a great time away. Hot tub, game room and the large deck were great.

A great place to stay on a beautiful property. Had a wonderful stay here, and the host was very helpful in locating it and proactive with his messages. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Truly enjoyed our second stay at this great home. The property is very private but still close to town and great hiking. The house/property provides great family gathering spaces while allowing for solace when desired. We look forward to returning next year.

The Meadow View apartment was clean, comfortable, private and peaceful. It had everything we needed for our long weekend in VT and is on a beautiful and quiet property. This is our 2nd time staying at Sondra and Daniel's property (previously stayed in their cabin) and would absolutely stay with them again the next time we visit Vermont.

We had a great time at Ben and Laura's place, the house is beautiful and well situated. The hosts were very accomodating to our group and friendly. We hope to be back soon!

We booked a last minute stay at Matt’s airbnb - and we have zero regrets! The space is so clean, nice, and exactly what the pictures showed! The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea. The televisions were so nice with the high definition! There were fans in our rooms that we were able to plug in which was super thoughtful! It was such a quiet and peaceful area which made our little getaway perfect, you can even hear the running water from the outdoors if you open your window! Matt was very responsive and even checked in with us- which really stood out to us! We loved staying there so much we recommended it to our family who is coming to visit - they immediately booked their stay! We can’t say enough great things about Matt and his charming airbnb. We absolutely will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. we felt at home. very spacious and cozy. this house has everything you need for your stay. Very close to Rutland. The fresh baked apple pie was a bonus. It was so delicious. Everything was perfect for us! Thank you! We will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

Dan & Holly are amazing hosts. They provided everything needed to make our week great. They left dining recommendations and all of the information we needed for the property. It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. The property is well maintained and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. We had no questions and checking in and out was a breeze because they are so thorough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Our recent stay with Stowe Mountain Rentals was the perfect way to spend a long weekend! It was conveniently located to downtown Stowe while far enough away to get the peace and tranquility from the mountains. The host was very proactive with restaurant and activity recommendations. The hotel staff were also great and made our stay very comfortable

I honestly couldn’t imagine a better Airbnb experience for a family of four and a dog. I feel so lucky we had this experience and we had two extra family members with us, everyone had a blast and had plenty of space. The toys for kids were really engaging and the scenery was more serene and beautiful than any pictures can do justice. Plenty to do not far away in a car. David was super communicable and friendly and everything felt very private and homey. Thank you David!

Kristin was super easy to get in touch with. The house is beautiful and super clean. They provided us with towels and soap, it felt like a hotel. Plenty of space. The pool wasn’t available but the jacuzzi was SO nice. You can see deer from you window, it was magical.

Wonderful Stay with Family – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing stay at this property with our family. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was fantastic – very responsive and always available to help with any questions we had. Communication was seamless, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. We really appreciated his hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay. We had a memorable time and would definitely return!

Bjorn’s home is pristine and could not be nestled in a more beautiful place. He was very responsive and the house is well supplied with everything you could need. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!!

We stayed at Kevin's place for my son's graduation from Middlebury College. We were there for three nights. While it is only a two bedroom home, their configuration of beds made it easy for us to sleep many more people (as long as they don't mind not having walls). The view is stunning. They also have tons of "toys." We hadn't chosen the house for this reason, but the young people loved the garage converted into "fun room" with billiards, foos ball, and bar. The kitchen was modern, clean and well equipped. While it was really cold when we arrived, and I was concerned about being warm enough, their mini-splits did the job along with a space heater they keep in the house. Two of my guests noted the AIrBnB listing and said they would like to return with their extended families. Kevin was kind and allowed us an early check in, which was convenient. The house had everything we needed, and everything we wanted. It really fit the bill for our group.

We had an amazing stay at Phil and Heather's place. Even with uncooperative weather, preventing full use of the deck/grill and firepit, this was still a great stay! The house was immaculate and very cozy. The private waterfall right outside was beautiful and soothing, and the location was perfect for exploring Waterbury, Stowe, and even Burlington. While the house location is very private, tucked away in its own little oasis, there is also the convenience of a Shaw's grocery less than two minutes away. We also really enjoyed all the little extra touches of home such as ice cream in the freezer, assorted options for coffee and tea, as well as the spa quality towels, bath soaps, and lotions provided in the bathroom. To anyone on the fence about booking this place, we would say "Do it! You won't regret it."

Kathy's cabin on the lake is the most magical place - quiet, peaceful and beautiful, the log cabin a throwback to an earlier time (but with great wifi). We sat on the dock with coffee and listened to the sound of loons out on the water. Kathy is also a great host. We will be back (we have actually stayed here a number of times because it's really the most lovely).

We had a wonderful time at the mirror house. Loved relaxing in the hot tub and sauna and there are great views to watch for wildlife. it had everything we needed for a long weekend away. Everything was clean and in great shape.

My family and I had a great stay. I would highly recommend staying at this property, even more so if you're a nature lover. The waterfall was my favorite part! We enjoyed the property so much we didn't even leave it during our stay. The hosts were friendly and great too! Thank you!

This house, designed by David Sellers, is an architectural marvel and a wonderful place to stay. Parker and Sabra are extremely responsive and helpful hosts. Highly recommend - especially for those interested in unique and beautiful houses.

Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!
