Lake house vacation rentals in Vermont

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

The views were just absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the stay was great! The clear communication left us at ease and the house was just as shown. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway!

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

Gorgeous peaceful accommodations on the gut. We were there to enjoy the sunsets while escaping the hustle and bustle…and we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for the opportunity! We highly recommend the property to anyone looking to enjoy the best of Champlain Islands.

If you’re looking for a fun and relaxing getaway this is your spot! We had such a fun time going into the lake, playing games on the lawn and also peeping all the beautiful leaves around the area. This was honestly one of the best AirBnB experiences we had!

We stayed in this beautiful lakefront home while we were in the area for a wedding during the fall colors season in October. Stunning location, and a very cozy home to take in all the sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning during the summer in order to enjoy all of the lake toys that this home has to offer! Our hosts were very accommodating and super responsive.

The home was exactly what I had hoped for. I walked the 5 minutes to Lake Willoughby and was not disappointed. The area is beautiful and peaceful; the home was just as described, and I felt right at home. I will be going back.

Amazing house, easy check in and check out! Loved the hot tub, games, fireplaces (indoor and out) and plenty of space! A great house for a ski trip! 10/10 would recommend.

This is a fantastic retreat! Ash and Ryan were very proactive and easy to message with. The house is decorated so beautifully. You can feel the thoughtfulness within every placement of every crystal and decoration. The sauna was superb! My favorite moment was looking out the back of the sauna (and the windows of the house) watching geese fly onto the lake and dive for fish.

Exactly as described in advertisement with the exception of the view from the front balcony and living room -- it is BETTER than described and expected! This a repeat for the future.

Place was great! Less than 10 minutes to Mount Snow. We had fun playing ping-pong, air hokey, pool, and darts! Relaxed by the wood burning stove. Lots of rooms and beds.

Great location, beautiful home, very responsive host. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Whitney’s camp was exactly what we were looking for—cozy, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the lake view was stunning. While the water for the kitchen and shower comes from the lake and isn’t drinkable, Whitney provides plenty of bottled water for cooking and drinking. We truly enjoyed our stay!

I traveled with my wife, kids (3 & 7), parents and parents in-law. We travelled from Puerto Rico (80°F+ all year long) to Rebecca's house during the last week of December. We loved the house, bathrooms were very clean, as well as the entire house. It is a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. The frozen lake was beautiful as well as the surroundings. Location was very reasonable in terms of getting to cross the border to Canada and also to get to Burlington, Stowe and other beautiful places. Thank you Rebecca!

Thomas and Tanja went over and above with their Airbnb rental home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and even provided extra items like coffee, honey, salt and sugar. The beds had super soft linens and there were more than enough blankets for everyone in the house. The kids adored the XBox in the bunk room and loved having some extra entertainment after skiing. Bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and plush towels. We loved the fireplace and used it every day. Very efficient and easy to use. We were also very thankful for the easy check out directions and flexibility for check-in and check-out times. Highly recommended this cute mountain home.

Stunning beauty. Fantastic location and views. Paradise right outside the bedroom window. Easy entrance and exit from house. Spotlessly clean. Super comfy - furniture, bed, and heating when the temperature dropped. Hoping for many returns to this amazing place of peace and serenity. Much gratitude to a great host.

Brad and Rose’s lake house is a perfect lake side get away. The location is beautiful and surprisingly convenient for being 30 yards from the border. The house is 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Jay peak down well maintained road. We spent the week skiing at Jay Peak during a two foot snow storm and were very concerned about being able to access the house since it is down a long drive way that slopes down to the lake. We spoke to Brad and Rose who made special arrangements with their plow guy to clear us a spot at the top of their driveway to guarantee we could get out on the day of the storm. The plow driver also reached out personally to make sure he plowed before we needed to leave. The drive way was plowed three time on the day of the storm and atleast 7 total during our stay. We were able to get in and out no problem even from the bottom of the drive way and the roads to and from the mountain were easily passable with 4 wheel drive (Subaru Outback). Would recommend!

Very nice house for all season adventure, accessible location without the worry of trapping in deep snow. Would like to visit again in the summer!

We had a great ski trip and Paige's house was exactly what we were looking for! The views were great and she was super response to all of our needs.

During our stay, well even before our stay, Jess was super fast in responding to any questions we had. Very flexible, and able to come out if needed with fixing something! The house was super clean, kid friendly, gorgeous, and had all the materials we needed for cooking multiple meals multiple times a day! Our very first air b&b experience and it was so worthwhile and wonderful!
