Monthly Rentals in Ulting

We enjoyed a wonderfully restorative five-night stay on Willow, immersed in nature and the sounds of the riverbank. We had everything we needed on board to cook, but if we fancied eating out, were just a few minutes' drive from The Bell for a delicious meal. Close to Sustrans Route 1 for cyclists (cycle rack on deck) and footpaths by the water if we wanted an evening stroll. We found fascinating history to explore in Maldon, Coggeshall and Harwich and appreciated the railway line just a few miles away with a frequent service to Clacton-on-Sea and Manningtree. Loved the pen and ink and mixed media original artwork on the walls. Already, we miss feeding the ducks, swans and moorhens. Will definitely return.

We are lucky we got the chance to stay despite busy Halloween weekend. Perfect for someone who likes calm and peace. Host had be great and helped at each step Possible plus very responsive

Never imagined we’d stay in a WWII Landing Craft! What a unique, quirky and cosy place to stay with a history all its own. Carole and Patrick are such friendly and generous hosts, and the boat is a charming and peaceful place to stay. The lovely town of Maldon is just a short walk away. We would definitely stay again in this picturesque part of Essex.
