Topsail Beach beach places to stay

Perfect location. Everything was clean and it was well-stocked. Check-out instructions were extremely minimal, it was nice to not feel like we had to spend hours leaving like some other places. It is right next to a public beach access, so there was a lot of foot traffic, but the people moved on quickly and settled further down the beach. I wish there were screens in the windows so that we could have opened them, but the sliding door does have a screen which was nice. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves!

The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning—truly the kind of view you could stare at for hours. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, sunset watching, and everything in between. Inside, the place was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together to make us feel right at home. Emily was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and quick to address any issues that came up. She genuinely cared about our comfort and even went above and beyond to compensate us for a minor inconvenience, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with top-notch hospitality!

We loved staying here for the weekend. It was so clean and well maintained. It’s the perfect location between the beach and the sound. More than enough linens, towels, and amenities were there for our family. The binder full of recommendations was such a great touch. We loved it so much we booked it again for next year. We chose Jennifer's place for many reasons and we sure did it right! We were celebrating a birthday and made an extended Memorial Day weekend out of it! Jennifer's place is amazing. It was the perfect beach house for us! She has top quality in furnishings, bedding, and accents! The hot tub was an added bonus :-) The location was great as well never more than a 30 minute drive around the island to get to shops, restaurants, and fun things to do! And the short walk down the street to the beach made it even better! We highly recommend her place if you are considering it! You will be as satisfied as we were! Thank you Jennifer for opening up your beautiful beach house!

Absolutely loved our stay at Callie’s Harbor on Topsail Island! It truly felt like a home away from home. The house had everything we needed and more—from a fully stocked kitchen to beach equipment, games, and books. The amenities were top-notch, and we especially appreciated the outdoor shower after long days at the beach. The location was perfect—peaceful, convenient, and just a short walk to the ocean. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and make memories. And a huge thank you to our host, Conally, who was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. You can tell a lot of care goes into this home, and it made all the difference. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Really enjoyed the stay here! Perfect walk right to the beach, private access was so perfect. It was right next to the pier so you could enjoy some night fishing steps away from the airbnb. It was really great, very peaceful. Alan was super responsive and helpful! Thanks for a great weekend :)

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

Perfect location! Just a few steps to the beach on a coded private walkway. Within easy walkable distance to the boardwalk for us & our small dog. Britts donuts has always been one of my favorite places! Condo was very clean. The king bed was really comfy. Amanda messaged after we checked in to make sure everything was going good & that we didn't have any issues with anything. I would highly recommend this condo.

As all other mentions in the overwhelmingly positive reviews have stressed, this was a favorite. The friendly, experienced Hosts take great pride in their property and this guesthouse. Everything adds up to an exceptional experience. Don't let the 'pet friendly' policy give you pause if you are not traveling with 4-legged friends, the property is spotlessly cleaned and maintained. The location is wonderful, away from the hustle bustle but within a short drive to the local attractions and beaches. Our only suggestions would be to add a small patio table and chair set for guests to enjoy their morning coffee in the beautiful yard while ther dogs frolic and perhaps a propane grill. We certainly would not hesitate to return or reccommend this lovely AirBnB if you are in the Wilmington area. Thank you Nate!

We had a fantastic stay at Michelle’s place. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. Having rented quite a few places in the Topsail/Surf City area, my wife and I agreed that this was a top favorite. Will certainly look here for future stays.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

This is my family and I favorite place to stay! We fish off the dock, go kayaking, swim and play in the sand. It’s an easy walk to the ocean side if you want to go there. We spend most of time at the at the beach area there at the house.

This was perfect for our mini family getaway! Lot’s of room, clean & just steps away from the beach. We couldn’t have asked for more. Minnie was responsive to everything within minutes which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The condo was the perfect vacation spot for a couple and our 3 kids. Love the upstairs space & decor. Pool and beach were walking distance. The beach was clean. The area was not overly crowded. Private entrance, safe. Would recommend for a family! Chris was also very responsive & helpful. Thanks for a great family vacation!

Great stay for our family, bunk beds were a big plus, and beach chairs, boogie board, and pool noodles left were an awesome bonus.

In a word, I would describe our stay as WONDERFUL. The easy accessibility to the beach and pool was great! Views were amazing. My wife kept saying she could not believe how clean the entire AirBNB was. Finally, we have a senior dog and the elevator was a game changer for him and for loading and unloading our stuff.

We had a great time at Rachel's condo, the place was amazing and is better than the listing shows.

We had an amazing stay at Harmony’s place! It was super clean, incredible views of the ocean and watching the sunsets each night. The place was beautifully decorated and up to date appliances, everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds and pillow were a plus. We loved how easy it was to walk right out to the beach. Having two young kids, it was awesome to have beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrella and MORE all provided! Short walk to the pier for food at Koko Cabana and Ruby’s coffee. We hope to make Oak Island our family spot each year and will book this condo again!

It was cozy little place with a great view of the ocean and we loved the balcony for breakfast. It was perfect for our Mom & Daughter trip.

We had an amazing time at Blue View! Our group was aged 2 and half to 83, so we have some insight to share. The stairs were difficult to manage for our older family members but we had expected that (hard to find oceanfront ranches!) But the location made it easy for the family to be on the balcony and enjoy watching the grandchild play on both the playground and the beach! The views were impressive, we slept peacefully in comfortable beds to the sound of ocean waves. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to feel right at home.

We enjoyed our stay at Bee and Joe's. It looked just like the photos and everything was so clean. We took our 2 yo and 8 yo and they absolutely loved it. It felt like home and the kids room was the perfect setup with the bunk beds and trundle. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean from the condo. We could also see the ocean from the main bedroom windows. The washer and dryer were very handy. The location is amazing and close to so many places to eat. It's very close to Surf City and other great surrounding areas. The beach is literally steps away and made it so easy to go back to the condo if we happened to leave something behind or someone had to use the restroom. Bee and Joe were very responsive. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Brian’s place! It was great to have a pool option and be so close to the beach. Also having toys, wagon, chairs and a sun ninja were key to our ability to stay out in the beach longer. The inlet view from the balcony was very peaceful. Thanks for having us!
