House is on Bird Island and setup for entertaining friends and family. House was completely remodeled in 2018 with a modern contemporary design featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay at Laurie's place! Prior to check in, Laurie sent information about the area, and also shared details about the house and where to find what we needed for our stay. So helpful. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics - and then some. The beds were comfortable - and with crisp cool sheets. I don't know what we enjoyed more - listening to the birds while enjoying our morning coffee on the screened lanai, sitting on the peaceful dock, or perhaps it was kayaking the pretty channel? Hmm, hard to pick. Either way, we would not hesitate to stay at the Waterfront Hideaway again! It was cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you Laurie!

I’ve stayed at my fair share of AirBnB’s and VRBO’s and Mike is one of the absolute best hosts I’ve ever had. He was very proactive with his communication and was super-accommodating upon our arrival. He gave us a personal tour of the property and ensured our stay was awesome. The views from the property were amazing! Additionally, the property was very well cared for. Will definitely be back!

This property was the ideal layout to accommodate my husband and I, our two kids and my parents. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed when we cooked in. The coffee/tea bar was an added bonus. And the location was close to both Spanish Springs and Sumpter's Landing with lots of restaurant options. The back lanai had a lovely lake view - so peaceful!

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and it truly lived up to all expectations. The space was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable retreat from start to finish. If you're a fan of fishing, this is a fisherman's paradise, with direct access to the water right from the property, which made for some great fishing trips during my stay. The nice boat house was a fantastic feature, offering the perfect spot to store our gear and spend time by the water. There was also plenty of parking, which made it easy to bring our boat and other equipment without any hassle. The accommodations were top-notch – cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Above all, the host Steven was responsive and accommodating, making sure we had all the information we needed. All in all, this was an amazing spot for anyone looking to enjoy some time on the water. I highly recommend it!

Thank you Richard and Lindsey (and Lilly) for hosting us again. We stayed in the upstairs unit a couple of years ago and loved it. The private water access and dock are perfect for enjoying the lake sunsets. The location couldn't be any better, right at the end of the Main Street but still peaceful and quiet.
