This property was simply spectacular - you will be surrounded by beautiful fields and expansive views of the ocean, and even a shared pool. The home is very cozy, with a lovely shower overlooking the water and a kitchen stocked for breakfast everyday. The host is very friendly and gave us unique local recommendations, including how to find the nearby bull fight. Great for couples or families (we were there with 2 young kids).

Al and Vilma are just the absolute sweetest and kindest hosts you will ever meet. Their sunset facing home is breathtaking and something to behold. The proximity to Angra do Heroismo is excellent but the rooms and the attention to every little detail is what makes Vivenda da Saudade truly special. We were blown away by how comfortable our stay was. The room was large and had everything from American wall adapters, to a fridge, fast internet and an incredible shower. Every window even had remote operated shutters for extra privacy. Al graciously made us last minute dinner reservations at perhaps the best seafood restaurant on the island and of course they sat us at the best table in the restaurant. Getting dinner reservations on this tiny island during peak season is no small feat, that experience alone made our whole stay worth it. Breakfast was wonderful and the ocean side views are stunning--they honestly have one of the best sunset views on the island. This place will leave you wanting to return again and again.

We had the Most wonderful Time At al and velmas Place! Both of them are very Kind, helpfull and hospitable! The House is located right near the Ocean and the room was very new, clean and lovely decorared! The breakfast was delicious with different Kind of fruit, Cheese, Ham... Moreover they had Great recommendations for activities you could do around the Island! We would Love to come back someday as we liked the House and wonderful al and velma very much! 10 out of 10 Points!

Great stay, ideally placed to discover the city and its surroundings. Kitchen available and quality breakfast with local products. Unlimited tea and coffee all day. We had a great time and would highly recommend it. Another time maybe Laure and William

Great breakfast - everyday a little bit different - particularly fond of the waffle day! :-) Good location, very clean and beautiful room, comfi bed. Very friendly host Laura, she helped us with everything (renting a scooter - getting an early taxi to the airport - recommending good restaurants) Thank you!!

we had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable! Our private bathroom but also the normal bathroom was very clean and the roommates very friendly. we would definitely recommend it!

We had a short stay on a layover however they allowed us early check in and were very helpful with our many bags! Very clean and comfortable room as well as a nice sunny patio and kitchen amenities. Upon our very early checkout, we had breakfast boxes waiting outside our door…a nice surprise! Thanks again!

Terrific place and great host! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable on the trip. We had a super late check-in and gave us all the info we needed to do it on our own, helped us arrange airport pick-up and drop-off and even prepared breakfast boxes for us when we had to leave for the airport super early on our last day. Thank you for making our trip so memorable, I would recommend this place to everyone!

The place was perfect for the night I was there. Clean, comfortable, and well situated. There was a hiccup in communication about transportation but not enough to rate my stay any less than five stars, just an encouragement to be proactive about clarifying expectations, especially if there is a language/time zone disparity.

We spent 4 days in Alberto’s home. The location is perfect to relax(nature & quite) and close to everything in Terceira by Car. Moreover, Alberto is a very kind host, with we liked to discuss during the huge and good breakfast each morning. We recommend Alberto’s home at 100% ! Thanks a lot and Hope to see you again. This Guest House is wonderful. We stayed one night and wish our layover was longer. Amazing host for this property and a Perfect location in a beautiful fisherman village! Super clean and great amenities!
