EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT 100% CLEANLINESS POLITE HOSTS EVERYTHING WAS ORGANIZED WELL PAINTED ALL THE LITTLE THINGS SUPER CLEAN WALLS, SHOWER, BATHROOM, ETC. EVERYTHING WELL PAINTED AND CLEAN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT MY FUTURE VISITS WILL BE THERE

We had the amazing opportunity to stay at Luz Maria’s place and what a treat it was! Such a cute house in a friendly village, we feel very lucky to have had the experience. We recommend the tamales that they sell in the square and also cenote cancun nearby, it has a diving platform and the kids didn’t want to leave!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Tizimín! The house is as described—spacious, clean, and full of charm. The pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the main square with easy access to restaurants and shops. With well-equipped kitchens, comfy rooms, and thoughtful touches, this place truly has it all. A great experience!

The room was impeccable, with cozy decoration and all the details well cared for. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to natural light coming in through the window. Also, the host was very attentive and left some local recommendations that made my visit even better. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a truly peaceful and beautiful place. I hadn’t have such a peaceful sleep for a long time hearing all the birds and the jungle. The place is loved and very well taken care of, very clean too. And the hosts and staff are just super nice you feel at home straight away. It is just a very special place and I hope to come back very soon!

Private Restored Hacienda With Its Own Cenote

Staying at Hacienda Kancaba was a dream. We planned an intimate wedding ceremony during our stay for 10 close friends and family, sight-unseen. The property is otherworldly, impossible to describe aside from saying there is certainly no other place like this on earth. Our guests flew in from many places and were annoyed by the drive from Cancun to Espita until we arrived at the property. After that, zero complaints. This is way off the beaten path, a portal to another era, frozen in time in idyllic surroundings. I kept thinking to myself: I cannot believe we get to occupy this gorgeous home; anything relatively similar in the US would be viewed from behind velvet ropes for an entrance fee. It is like if you could rent Monticello… And for whatever it’s worth after all the rest of that sincere gushing, pictures do this place zero justice. It’s ten times as pristine and beautiful in real life. A gem. I expect that I will never see anything else like it in my life.

Such a beautiful place nested in Yucatan nature! All you can hear is the birds singing. We loved our stay at the ranch and the hosts Audrey and Sébastien were super welcoming and helpful with tips on things to do in the area. Very kids friendly: playground area, amazing pool, farm animals to visit and kids bedroom is filled with books and games. The area has a lot to offer though we mostly just enjoyed being at the ranch: lovely towns, cenotes, 1h from Rio Lagartos ect. The tiny house has everything you will need to be comfortable and cook and the patio is very large and comfortable !

This was a one of a kind experience. The cenote cannot be missed and in the morning we had it all to ourselves! It is so quiet out here, it’s a perfect place to stay to get away from noise. If you choose to stay, arrange transportation well in advance. It was a bit difficult to arrange a taxi out there, so my partner and I ended up leaving our luggage as Spanglish Hostel overnight and rented a scooter over to the Airbnb. Which was a lot of fun anyways :) Don’t miss this experience!!

The place is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, the soap smells delicious, even the toilet paper is premium. There is hot water, good WiFi, the terrace where the kitchen is located is spacious and you feel a lot of peace here and throughout the space. My friends and I were genuinely happy and it was largely because of the treatment and energy of the people who were hosts. The horses are a delight, I couldn't recommend the experience in this space with Andy more. Thank you very much. ❤️ I hope to be back soon.

This is an amazing place to rest, relax and unwind. The grounds are incredible and the staff can’t do enough to help. The host has been extremely helpful in organizing everything and we would love to visit again to enjoy such wonderful, peaceful surroundings and meet friends, again.

Truly a one of a kind space and host, Arturo took time out his day to tell us stories and talk to us about the incredible Mayan culture that was literally in the backyard of the house. Balam Suite 1 with Cenote. Valladolid

Our heads are still spinning with memories of this beautiful place and the people. The property is a dream, lovely, safe, peaceful and quiet. We arrived by way of the Santa Rita turnoff at Ek-Balam, avoiding Valladolid. Signage to Secreto Maya is excellent. The guys and gals were sweet and friendly -- and fluent in English when our Spanish failed. I'm not sure who was cooking but they should be Michelin rated. Kept the dining open late just for us and a French family. Best cenote for swimming and diving that we have seen in Yucatan. So few people on a weekday that it felt like a private pool. (Apparently they skim it daily to please visitors even though the leaf debris is natural.) We'll go back, hopefully to renew acquaintances with our new friends, including Wera, the wonder puppy.

Unfortunately, we only stayed there one night because we were passing through to El Cuyo. The property is within walking distance of the bus station. Edgar was super helpful and always available. We would stay there again anytime.

We stayed here our last night in Mexico. After a semi-hectic pace this was the perfect space to decompress. I’m not sure if I missed it on the Airbnb listing, but had I known, I would’ve booked a massage as it’s an amenity that they offer. The grounds were beautiful, the room very comfortable, the food at the restaurant delicious. They offered us a complimentary drink upon arrival and provided us a three course breakfast in the morning. I was very happy with our stay at Casona los Cedros.
