Monthly Rentals in Spring Lake

Dona and her mum were very kind and were arranging when we had to stay one more night in the Diego unit, they made it work even if they hadn’t planned to rent this one yet. My daughter loved feeding the animals, and we enjoyed very much the tour of the sanctuary. It was quiet. Thank you both for your hospitality.

I took myself on a solo writing retreat, and the cottage at Irish Acres farm was perfect for my needs. I got a lot of pages written and had different places to write, both inside and outside. I was born and raised in the country but have become "citified" since moving to Orlando in 1986. I loved the animals--all the fancy chickens, the cows, Piggly Wiggly the pot-bellied pig, peacocks, birds, and Elmira, who was cute but not a great barn cat. I didn't see Oksana much, but I felt her presence everywhere. The cottage was all decorated for Christmas and felt so festive. She paid attention to the details and included so many extras to make guests feel welcome. Mark was a hoot! I enjoyed his Irish brogue and dry wit and seeing how he loved his animals and ran the farm. He even taught me how to milk a cow. My stay at the Irish Acres cottage was so much more than I ever hoped for. I felt inspired and productive with my writing and peaceful in my soul. Thank you, Mark and Oksana.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Jim and Sharon's place. The location of their property was perfect for us. I only wish that we had time to enjoy the amenities that are available at their property (outdoor space, patio sitting area, firepit). The hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions that we had and we would not hesitate to stay again! Thank you Jim and Sharon.
