This property is situated on a freshwater canal that connects directly to the Homosassa river. You can kayak/boat to the springs in < 5 minutes. 2 brand new kayaks on site or drive to Ft Island Gulf Beach and have the perfect river and beach getaway! This is a new construction home, everything is new. AC, roof, kitchen, appliances, etc. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, and a loft upstairs that is intended to sleep lots of children. Ideal set up is 3 couples downstairs and up to 7 kids upstairs.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. We came for relaxation before heading home to our hectic life, and this spot did not disappoint. Such a peaceful little spot on the water. It really is a little gem. Close enough to grab food and drink easily, but set off enough that the only noise you'll hear is the egret hunting for his breakfast in the water. They allowed us a later checkout to accommodate a late flight we had and we genuinely appreciated that. We would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable spot to give Marco and Lisa's place a whirl!

Weeki Wachee gardens, on canal next to state park

The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

Kelley's place was a relaxing and beautiful base for our trip to the Weeki Wachee area. The provided tandem kayak was exactly what we needed to see tons of manatees and enjoy the crystal clear spring waters - definitely make sure to request it when you stay here, as it's shared between properties. We come to the area often and would stay here again.

the place is so gorgeous and peaceful. I loved kayaking in the river it was so much fun and swimming. this is our second time coming here. we came here in 2024 in August. then it came in 2025 in April. tell you one thing in April it was still gorgeous much much more. we can't wait for next year

This was an impromptu trip with my brothers and Josh was very accommodating. His home is beautiful, clean, inviting, peaceful and relaxing. Josh checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable and recommended a local restaurant as well as some dishes to try. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend The Scallop Inn if you are looking for a great place to enjoy Crystal River!

Absolutely gorgeous. The location is amazing, a block away from upper deck restaurant and rogers park and a short paddle from the main river, while also having peace and quiet. An amazing mix of the best things. We saw lots of manatees right in front of the house. What an amazing trip I will definitely be back!!! The host is extremely responsive as well. Thank you!!

This was a great family vacation with our 3 teenagers! The house had everything we needed! The nespresso machine was my favorite! They have such an amazing coffee and tea set up! We did a lot fishing! Even on our first day we saw dolphins swim into the channel we took kayaks out to see them. They love to chase the boats coming into the channel! My favorite place to dine was defff Brian’s place all the way the food and drinks were amazing! The lazy lizard plays music almost every night we ended up there on our last night but wish I tried it out earlier in the week. On our second day he had beach chairs sent over and a cooler for us to use. Def try out SunWest park if you have kids we went couple of times to play volleyball, use the inflatable water park and beach! This was an amazing stay thank you very much!

Wow! What a great place. This is perhaps the most well-stocked home we have stayed in through Airbnb. The hosts were incredible responsive and have thought of everything. We came for a long weekend of kayaking and viewing wildlife. We were able to kayak right from the house and see many birds, fish, and manatees. The kitchen had everything you need to cook in. Overall, a great place.
