Pet-friendly vacation rentals in South Venice

We are a couple traveling to see new interesting places. Spend most of the day exploring the area, just need a quiet place to rest, sleep and cook dinner. This place was good for our purposes: quiet, private and close to many attractions of Sarasota.

My sister and I had a lovely stay at El Tropicale. We were attending a yoga retreat in Lakewood Ranch so the location was perfect. Very spacious and the pool is great! All communication was prompt and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Sonia & Daniel's house exceeded all our needs for our son's stay visiting his grandparents in Venice. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Everything he needed was there, and he enjoyed a quiet place to relax. The screened in lanai was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee. The neighborhood was very peaceful, and our son was happy to be able to do a morning run down through Shamrock Park, which is on the water. Sonia and Daniel were very responsive to our messages. We would definitely consider renting this house again!

Great stay! Quiet and off the beaten path but still close to many fun activities and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Romualda’s home was very clean, beautiful, and modern. She was very communicated from the time we booked the AirBnb, to the time we checked in, and the time we checked out. We felt right at home as she had many ameneties that were offered and more. We will definately book again next time we are in town.

we came to Relax at the Beach and Christopher's place had everything we needed to do that. From coffee to Beach towels, He thought of everything.! We enjoyed our trip.

Joe's place feels like a real home - many AirBnBs can feel like a hotel with a little more space - Joe's house was not that! Complete with a ton of my personal favorite books, tons of kitchen utensils/supplies, a desk, and more. The huge fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and our dogs. The location is right off of a main road that takes you to shopping/amenities within minutes. If you're looking for a great place to feel comfortable while visiting Sarasota, we'd recommend Joe's property to anyone!

We had a very nice stay here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but only 5 minutes from really nice shopping & restaurants, 8 minutes to downtown Venice, and about 15 minutes to the pier on Venice Beach. Host was very responsive and had great suggestions on things to do. Pool and pool area was very clean. Great value.

Mary was so easy to talk to and very responsive. We chatting before and during our arrival. She has a lovely, Clean, organized home. She has been so gracious and we loved our stay there.

Had a lovely stay here. Communication with Carmen was fantastic. Decorating in home was tasteful and lovely and we felt right at home.

This place was perfect for a relaxing vacation. Beautiful home with a wonderful pool area. Nicole was a perfect host. We would definitely recommend and/or stay here again!

Spent a few nights with my husband and kids and was not disappointed. The house was just what we needed for a weekend of fun! The pool was the main highlight but the house provided lots of beach amenities that made our stay even better. Birute's place was not far from town and was located in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful place to spend time with the people you love and enjoy what Siesta Key has to offer!

Marie was extremely accommodating. She answered all my concerns very quick. She is such a wonderful hosts. I recommend this place 100%. . It is very spacious house . it is makes you feel at home.

Kids liked the location and found all the things they needed for the children. Pool warmed up and they had fun swimming. Close to restaurants and grocery shopping.

Michael's home was wonderful! clean and had all the comforts of home. kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to do all your cooking needs. the Gas grill by the pool was clean with gas in the tank! Michael was very helpful and messaged back promptly. The POOL WAS AWSOME! 90 degrees and welcoming to swim in. My 9 year old stayed in it the whole time we where there! Best vaction we have had in a long time. I would stay at Michael's place again and for much longer. If you are a big fisherman there is a place for a boat on the river. we saw a few center console boats go in and out. Neighborhood is quiet, walking would be fine very low traffic. Publix is right around the corner, and a DQ is like walking distance. The drive to the beach is not bad. Sanabil beach is Dog friendly so we went there, shells 🐚 are nice there as well. You have to pay by the hour $5 it was $20 a trip not counting the toll. Michael's place is wonderful and we can't wait to go back or stay at his other homes.

This was by far my best Airbnb stay yet. Lynn’s home is very beautiful, clean, family friendly. There was an issue with the television remote and she had it taken care of within the hour. I highly recommend staying with her. The pool and spa are so relaxing and good for the kids. We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to book with Lynn again.

First I would like to say thanks so much to William and Terri. What a beautiful home you have. My family and a great stay at your house I would have to say the pool was the big hit. The boys absolutely loved it. The area was beautiful the shopping in downtown Venice has tons of shops to go and check out. Manasota Key Beach was fun as well shark tooth exploring and shell hunting was great it's kind of a must do if your there. Can't say enough had a great stay beds were comfy. We had a wonderful stay at Carla’s house. I would recommend it to anyone considering this area! I was surprised at how well stocked everything was! We had everything we needed! She was helpful and responsive every time i spoke to her! We had a lot of fun on the covered porch and we even got to interact with some of the horses on the property. There was a lot of great shade with all the mature trees and my son enjoyed the ducks at the pond and just having a lot of space to run around. I have nothing but great things to stay about our trip. We will be back next year! Thanks again Carla!

The apartment was very roomy, clean and we loved the well-stocked kitchen with the beautiful countertops and all the cooking utensils that you could want. Renee is an excellent host, very responsive! It was great to enjoy morning coffee out on the balcony!

This place is very cute and had the perfect space for my doggo. everything was close by, such as the beach and restaurants. Very responsive host. My only complaint is that the beds are very stiff. Other than that, I would definitely recommend!

Any question I had Tom responded within minutes. The house was very clean and clutter free which is what I look for. Additionally, I liked having good plastic hanger (not a bunch of crappy wire ones lol) & a hamper for dirty clothes (a simple item to have so you don’t have dirty clothes all over the floor.) We brought our 2 Labrador retrievers so having the fenced in yard was great! Plus, the neighborhood was perfect for taking them on nice long walks each day. The location is an easy drive to the Venice dog beach which they love! The main recommendation I made to Tom was to get new bath towels as they are ready to be replaced. I visit every year for the holidays because I have family that lives 7 minutes away from the house which was very convenient. I would definitely stay at his property again.

We enjoyed our two month stay at Viktoriya’s beautiful new home. The house is well maintained - the kitchen has all the amenities allowing you to feel like you’re at home. The neighborhood is very quiet and we enjoyed our walks. Viktoriya is a wonderful hostess and is very welcoming and responsive to any questions you might have. Looking forward to our stay in 2026.

Had a wonderful stay! Place was in great location for what we wanted out of our vacation: golf, beach and bike trail! The accommodations were clean and roomy. Siesta Key Prop Mgmt was very responsive and brought us an extra beach chair and umbrella for our beach day! Would highly recommend!
