Vacation rentals with beach access in South Somerset District

Lovely little apartment right on the sea front. Set up nicely with a clean easy to use kitchen and a couple of essentials such as seasoning and dishwasher tablets. Fluffy towels and comfy furnishings, although the mattress was a little on the soft side for me. As described, there is some neighborhood noise, the living room backs onto a busy takeaway, but this wasn't a problem as the bedroom is facing a quiet private courtyard.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

The most amazing sea views from every window! Spacious living area, very comfortable. The building is well located with a grocery store very close and lots of shops, restaurants and the pier within walking distance. Lots of cool places to visit nearby, including Bath, Cardiff and Stonehenge. Super responsive host. Beautiful town, highly recommend!

A modern beautifully furnished and well equipped ground floor apartment. A touch of luxury whilst visiting family in the local area. Sea view and hot tub - fabulous.

The Aspect is compact, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a long weekend in Sidmouth. The apartment overlooks the shore and the sounds of waves lapping was very calming. The apartment is very close to the shopping streets filled with a variety of shops of all varieties, galleries, and 3 small (late opening) supermarkets within 5-7 mins walk. Sidmouth has numerous restaurants and cafes all within 10 mins walk of the apartment. Some very close to the apartment open early for breakfast. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Julie was a very responsive host. The property very clean and beautiful. Full of charm and character. Very close to some lovely beaches, a good regular bus service and many, many lovely places to visit. Won't hesitate to stay again.

Had a great stay for a couple of nights (wished we booked for longer). Great location right on the beach and able to take our dog everywhere with us. We had great weather too which helped. Cosy and comfortable 3 storey place - fabulous views

Stephanie’s house was in the perfect place for us and the perfect size for 4 adults and a 16 months old. The water views from the main bedroom and lounge room and balcony were a real treat and so relaxing. The little garden was very private. The proximity of shops for groceries and cafes was very handy. The walk along the waterfront all the way to the Sandbanks was a bonus. We would happily rent this property again.

Great house for a family vacation with baby equipment provided including beach toys; and chairs for the grandparents. Lots of hot water and heating (if required), comfy beds and spacious living areas for all the family. Very useful to have private car parking available. The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to beach and playgrounds as well as town centre and excellent range of shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was fantastic. We loved the hi spec kitchen for the only meal we cooked whilst there. It was a home from home. Only being a brisk 5 min walk from the promenade was a bonus. Near to restaurants and shops too.

Loved our stay here. We were a large group of adults and children and there was so much space. We felt right at home and loved there was a Christmas tree and some decorations. Beds were so big and comfy. Location was great, the bakery is definitely worth a visit. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and spacious. Steve was very responsive and helpful. The only thing others have mentioned is that the road to the car parking space is very narrow so no one could use it with the size of our cars, but we didn't have a problem finding parking elsewhere - we were out of season so summer months could be trickier. We'd love to come back.

We had a large family gathering at Tristan’s wonderful home. The home surroundings were stylish and comfortable and Tristan left a very impressive ‘welcome pack’ The kitchen/ diner/lounge area was a fabulous place to eat and drink. The home is set just behind Lyme Regis beach with everything you’ll need a short walk away. We were very fortunate with the weather too which made our weekend away just perfect. We’d highly recommend 👍

Wow, Kristin's place is absolutely dreamy! It's so close to town and the train station, and every detail has been carefully thought out. We really wish we could stay longer!

One of the best night stays we've had. Everything was as the advert mentioned including a Christmas tree and Christmas trimmings to make it feel extra special. We're due to come back next year and will definitely see if we can stay here again.

We loved having a weekend away at this place! It was so close to the beach and peaceful walks, which Teddy our dog loved! The view of the beach, steam train and open fields, from the conservatory, was great and allowed us to switch off and escape for the weekend. Would love to have a long weekend away here again some time

Perfect base to stay, really comfortable bed, full kitchen. I was fortunate that my stay coordinated with the illuminated carnival in Weston-super-Mare and I also went into Weston on the open top bus from just outside. it was lovely to enjoy the view from both lounge and bedroom, even if it was a little grey. but nice beach to walk along with direct access. I will definitely stay again if in the area.

A fantastic apartment right in the centre of Teignmouth, spacious very clean with good sized bedrooms & bathrooms, the sofa is massive. A nice welcome hamper, birthday ballon, fizz on arrival little touches made for a fantastic weekend, Matthew was very responsive with messages which was greatly appreciated 10/10

I never actually got to stay in Andreas place this time as I had a small work issue that delayed my arrival :-(. With that being said I have stayed here many times and always had an amazing stay. I will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Cluedo Hall very clean and well equipped apartment and lovely comfy beds . Will definitely return here hopefully when weather warmer and not in middle of Storm Bert !! Thank you miles .

The view to sea is amazing. The flat is right in the middle of Weymouth and you can walk to lots of restaurants. Equally you can walk all along the bay which is beautiful. The flat was totally peaceful at night despite it being central. Everything worked well. There were no problems.
