The kids and I had the best time! Having the sea and beach on our doorstep was incredible. Fossil hunting, fishing, walks, amusements, great food and a very cute little cabin to call our home for 3 days. Waking up and seeing the sea every morning was the icing on the cake. Thank you Neil & Sarah for letting us enjoy some of the magic. We very much hope to be back soon.

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

We had a great few days. The hosts are a lovely couple who were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed exploring the lovely area. The place has a kitchen but there’s also a great pub serving food next door. Big bathroom with a newly installed rain shower. Thanks for everything.

Had a lovely two nights at the Apple Barn. Jocelyn was so friendly and helpful, and the location was brilliant, very central to Bruton. We had everything we could need and really appreciated the little touches like being left some home made cookies, bread and milk. Thanks so much Jocelyn for a wonderful stay

Had a wonderful stay, the location was absolutely beautiful - and the accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. And we were pleasantly surprised to find some breakfast bits to help ourselves too, an amazing stay - and would love to revisit again! ☺️

Myself and my daughter decided last minute to spend New Years Eve away for a change of scenery and a bit of a girls night in! The accommodation was as described, easy to find with clear instructions on how tobget in. We were made to feel that the hosts were on hand should we need anything or have questions, but we had everything we needed for a lovely break away. We enjoyed using the woodland path to the rear to get out for a walk before settling on for the evening. Many thanks 😊

Was such a lovely getaway, would definitely recommend had such a nice time and a beautiful area. Cassie was very attentive and friendly :) Definitely try Castello Restaurant in radstock and is only a 10 minute drive was amazing!

When we arrived at the Chalwood Barn, it felt really clean and fresh, we were greeted with a bottle of cider and some local fudge which was a nice touch. The hosts came to visit us on arrival and explained the location and what’s going on in the area and where and how to get to different places. We visited Bath and Bristol, which was only 20 miles away from the Barn. After long days out walking and shopping the Barn felt really cosy place to come back too and rest up for the night. All in all a lovely place to visit in the middle of the countryside with the hustle of town life not too far away, we would throughly recommend and will be looking at rebooking for next year.

What a fantastic gem the Potting Shed was. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A wonderful setting and had everthing we needed. Tamzin was on hand for any questions we had and we met her and her lovely friendly dogs. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was nice and warm. A super place to relax in and that is what we did! Thank you Tamzin.

An excellent place to stay. Suited our requirements perfectly as overflow for a family Christmas nearby. Without Sues excellent instructions to find Robins Nest we might have struggled, but with her directions we had no problem . Spotlessly clean and warm.

Lovely stay at The Stables. The hot tub was added luxury and perfect for a January getaway. Nancy communicated well about how to access the property and the place was as lovely as described and as the pictures suggested it would be. Would definitely recommend.

Claire’s cottage was the perfect getaway for a trip to Piddlehinton. The cottage is quite big, and more than enough space for two people to get comfortable. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and Claire was delightful as a host. I couldn’t recommend this place more

i do overall recommend the stay, especially for the price. I would be wary though about parking, as I followed instructions in regards to there being plenty of street parking but my car was targeted and keyed for no apparent reason. The owner was as helpful as she could have been but unfortunately I was outside of the camera vision.

Our stay in Bromham was absolutely wonderful, thanks to this amazing hidden gem and the exceptional hospitality of our host. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The host's attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference, and their local recommendations were spot on. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of a great location, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a truly caring host. Lovely place to stay, peaceful location. Easy walk to bus into Bristol. Good base to explore the area. Lovely place, clean and everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Spent a lovely few days here, lovely hosts. Very cosy getaway, clean well equipped and great water pressure/heating. Couldnt ask for anything more. Great for walks to the Tor and Chalice well and an easy walk to town. Will be back again.
