I had a wonderful stay. There has been some storm damage to the hut I was due to stay in so Linda called me and let me know she had plenty of other options and put me in a wonderful alternative hut. The hut was spotless, warm (with enough wood to keep me warm all weekend) and cosy. Linda was very friendly and responsive. Moonfleet is a beautiful place to spend some time away from normal life and feel in the country side. I can’t wait to go back!

The perfect getaway to press pause on life for a few days! Very peaceful and private. Fiona was a brilliant host. Everything was thought of and there were personal touches and surprises in every draw. The homemade white chocolate and raspberry cookies were gorgeous. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back again soon.

Great little hut to have a quiet and comfortable stay. The camping site facilities were pristine and staff were always friendly.

We had a wonderful stay with our dog Riley. It was our first time taking him away as an anxious dog and the hut’s setting was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful area, fire pit in the evening and the cosy fire in the hut. We appreciated the clear instructions prior to our stay. We found the hut had everything we needed for our short stay. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future. Thank you ☺️ ✨

Thankfully we bumped into Sally’s neighbour who walked us to the site. ( we ended up becoming friends with them!) The accommodation wasn’t very clean, but it was well stacked with everything we needed and more. Beds and pillows were terrifically comfortable. Bath was heaven, evenings and mornings were paradise. Loved eating al fresco and the site contained everything to make us relax. A special thanks for bread, REAL coffee! Eggs, butter and milk! We loved it and would love to return. Just more attention required to housekeeping!

My partner and I were desperate to have a relaxing place to stay to get away from our busy work lives and this was the perfect place. Tucked out the way and very private surrounded with beautiful scenery and next to no noise. We loved that it was walking distance to the pub where we enjoyed lunch. The hot tub was a bonus. It had everything we needed. Excellent little shepherds hut, highly recommend. Thank you!

We recently stayed at Andreas Shepherd's Hut in Cruxton, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in a serene rural setting, the hut offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was charmingly rustic yet comfortably modern and the interior was well-appointed with thoughtful touches that made it feel cosy and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the small kitchenette was equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay which we made the most of both mornings and evenings. The hut's location was perfect. Surrounded by apple trees and rolling hills, it's ideal for leisurely walks, relaxing outside with the fire pit or enjoying the private space alongside the river. The lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to view the Milky Way when stargazing one evening which was the perfect addition to our stay. Andrea was super accommodating, ensuring that everything was in order and even dropped off a homemade Dorset apple cake!

Had an incredible time here. Views are insane. Such a private location despite the fact you can get into Bristol very swiftly. Neil treated us very well, with local treats inside when we arrived. Very cold during our stay so we didn’t use the hot tub, but it didn’t matter as the pod itself is heated very well with underfloor heating. Would definitely recommend booking if you’re looking for a nice relaxing break away. Also the sheep are very cute.

We spent a fabulous two nights at "Lucy ". The hot tub was great, we were lucky to have one clear night to star gaze. The area is fantastic with the York Inn a short walk away with lovely food. the hut had everything we needed, super cosy . We nearly finished the jigsaw!

We had a lovely couple of nights in Herdwick hut at Laverstock farm. The farm is gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around it seeing the animals, particularly the pygmy goats, and even had a couple of games of table tennis in the games room. The area around the hut is very private and peaceful, although you could hear some chatter from the cottages above at times. The hut itself is really pretty and cosy and we loved being greeted by the cows in the adjacent field. The separate kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed evenings by the fire pit, with the added bonus of marshmallows left by the host! One thing to mention is that the shared washroom is a walk away, up by the cottages, but it was clean and offered products and towels. A relaxing and lovely stay.

Our stay at Nicola’s shepherd's hut was absolutely delightful. The location is idyllic, offering a serene escape where you can fully relax and immerse yourself in nature. The hut was incredibly clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. Nick and her mum were both amazing hosts, ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. I highly recommend this charming shepherd's hut for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

We have stayed with our dog at Rosa’s during Christmas break and it was more peaceful and lovelier than expected. If you want to wake up with birds chirping and cows mowing, this is the right place ❤️ 🦉🐮

This was a lovely little Shepard’s hut! Easy to find and it was just so cosy and lovely, the fire kept the little hut warm for hours, the bed was extremely comfy and it had everything there to make it feel like a home away from home, only much cuter, will definitely want to make another visit in the warmer weather so we can experience the outdoor fire pit!

Beautiful place and the hosting family are great. Worth every penny and a very peaceful stay. Can't thank you enough and will be back another time.

Lovely shepherds hut! We loved the fire and the wood-fired hot tub, especially as we went in December so this made the whole place so lovely and cosy. The cabin was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch☺️ Chloe was a great host, the book with plenty of instructions and recommendations was very handy too. Overall a lovely peaceful stay, thank you!

Thank you Lou for a wonderful stay. A beautiful space, every small detail has been thought of. A great location for walking nearby and food in Wells and at the Queen Vic in Priddy. We can’t wait to come back!

What an absolute gem of a find! Beautiful and quaint without feeling pretentious in any way. Andrew was responsive and helpful with communication and the outdoor bath tub was 11/10! Would definitely return.

Thank you to Clare & Luca. We loved staying here for our first anniversary, it was really special. The decor and attention to detail was outstanding but felt homely and safe. We loved having a board game night (games provided) & felt there was so much to do! We enjoyed, reading in the hut, watching a film, making pizza (definitely not experts lol) & fire making to use the hot tub! We would love to come back again in the Spring/Summer time, although this place is amazing for all seasons. The hosts were so friendly and attentive. Clare was lovely enough to even bring round a bottle of prosecco for us! We have no faults of this stay & think it’s an excellent property and value for money. We can’t wait to come again!! xx

We had a great time at the hut on the heath! It was the peaceful getaway we were looking for, with the adding bonus of seeing all the Friendly deer. Was in a convenient location to explore the local area and I’d highly recommend visiting blue pool. Claire and Tristan were great hosts. Would love to come back and stay again

Such a lovely and clean place to spend the night, we stopped off before solstice at Stonehenge and left feeling well rested and treated! Super cute place to cosy up in winter, thanks amber!
