Great house close to Christchurch Park, and a 10 minute walk downhill into town. We felt comfortable staying here and had a brilliant week in Ipswich. Thank you!

This was our second time visiting this air bnb. It's a perfect little gem of a place.

Great place and easy with a dog . The fact they had a stair gate to prevent dogs going upstairs was brilliant . There were a lot of restaurants and sights accessible on foot . We used it as a base to travel out and do long walks on beaches and estuary’s . Secure garden for dog .

Great house in a great location. Short walk to bakeries, restaurants and shops and a lovely stroll to the beach and pier. The house was spacious, comfortable and quiet and had everything we needed as a family of 5 with a dog. We hope to come back soon!

Another wonderful stay. Another lovely hamper awaits on arrival. Different items than the last one so nothing generic or bulk buys so feel it's always individual and thoughtful. Extremely clean, tidy and bathroom smells lovely. A real home from home. And with a dog the price is very reasonable compared to chain hotels in which you only get a room there. Love this little gem 😀❤️

The house was even better than the pictures, so inviting and easy to settle straight in and begin to relax and explore the lovely village of Holt. Super clean, cosy, very well equipped kitchen, beautiful clean white bedding and such style throughout the house. I was in love with their radiators! ;) We only had two nights, so the ease of the stay was wonderful. All the extra touches really made it wonderful, the scrumptious cake and fizz on arrival, the local hand and dish soap and the cute pillows on the bed with the house's name to name just a few. Communication from Scott was first class with tons of helpful information on the area, plenty to dive in to and start enjoying our stay. We loved our mini vacation, it broke up half term perfectly and would love to stay at Parva House again one day - with more nights next time ;)

I chose the house for practical reasons as I needed be near to an elderly parent over Christmas. It was actually bigger than I expected and it was lovely to find a house so clean and tidy; and thoughtfully organised, ordered and equipped. Trevor's responses and suggestions were excellent – and the fact he'd got milk in was a godsend as my father found he'd run out after the shop closed. Altogether, it was like a real home from home. The house is an easy walk from the main centre of Orford and although as a city-dweller, I found the lack of street-lighting disconcerting when walking back at night, the traffic was light and never fast. The children's festive service in St Bartholomew's on Dec 25th was beyond delightful, and there was a warm welcome (and free drinks!) in the pub next door to the churchyard afterwards. I already know the village and enjoyed rediscovering some excellent walks and spending time looking at the boats on the quay. Altogether a relaxing, stress-free experience.

We had a great stay at number 42. There was 8 of us (2 family’s, 4 x adults and 4 x children) and we found it really spacious. It was very clean and in a great location. Mark was helpful and friendly in his communications throughout. We would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed as a family of 3 and a dog! Nicola had thought of everything and we were very surprised by the lovely basket of goods which included all of the extra things you need when staying away from home.

Would highly recommend Luka Lodge. The heated swimming pool and pool table were a huge hit with the grandchildren. We loved the open plan layout of the lodge, plenty of space for all 14 of us to be able to be together. Sauna was an added bonus for some quiet time for the grown ups. The 3 days of constant pouring rain did not dampen our fun. Although the children were limited in using the amazing outside play area. We managed to have a tasty bbq, as all under cover. Minor points, football table was damaged (as it was outside and had weathered) and could do with a larger kitchen bin for so many of us. We will definately return as soon as the sun shines again. Our stay at Amanda's place was brilliant! The chalet was very clean, especially with the bathroom and kitchen being spotless. The hosts Amanda and David kept us informed and we got all the required information in plenty of time. All the amenities worked and we were able to settle in very quickly. On arrival there was some tea, coffee and milk available to make a drink so that was a lovely touch. The only down side I would say is we found it a little chilly (even with the heaters on) but that is to do more with the season than anything that the hosts could do. I would definitely recommend for families as everything was there for all of our children (even our 3 month old) and the included amenities on the site are excellent.

Beautiful little cottage, had everything we needed and was very clean. The log burner was a joy after a cold day out walking, there was plenty of wood too. Andy was really great with recommendations of where to visit and eat, he also responded to a message straight away when needed. Would highly recommend The Hideaway.

The most beautiful setting for a girls weekend away! The cottage was absolutely perfect, and the addition of having complimentary access to the health club and spa for the duration of our visit was a real treat! The communication for the host and the warm and friendly welcome from the spa staff was fantastic. We enjoyed the local circular walk as recommended and booked treatments in the spa, went to Sandringham for afternoon tea which was just a short drive away and found some fabulous places to explore locally! We will definitely be returning, it was a perfect stay in every way!

Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

We had another lovely stay in this chalet. Linda is friendly and always responds quickly to messages. The chalet was well equipped and felt cosy and homely - it was the perfect place for my sister and I to spend a few days chilling out together. The on-site fish & chip shop was great as was the nearby Chinese take away. We’re really hoping to stay here again next year! :)

Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful bungalow. The location is perfect - just over a 5 min drive or a 30 min walk to the centre of southwold. Despite being a residential area it is so peaceful and quiet - it was lovely not hearing people, cars, aircraft passing by outside. It is a real cosy home from home - lots of space and fully kitted out with anything you might need from a few nights to a few weeks. We loved our first visit here and hopefully it will be the first of many.

Lovely clean, cosy and private accommodation. Perfect for our needs on our night away and perfect for our two dogs as within walking distance of the beach. Nice touch to leave a bottle of Prosecco and milk in the fridge plus doggie treats. The only minor downside was that we couldn’t use Netflix.

We had a lovely stay. Really quiet environment and enclosed courtyard for our dogs. This was a good place for us to explore the Broads and some of the beaches nearby. Had dog bows, towels and treats for the dogs which was a lovely touch. Place was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very peaceful and relaxing stay and all the amenities just a few minutes drive away, in a good location to visit many interesting places along the Norfolk coast. Mario the host made us feel very welcome with milk in the fridge and a nice sponge cake on our arrival. The garden is very nice with an enclosed seating area and a large grass area behond with mature trees and shrubs, will definitely return in the future

Having stayed at The Wheelhouse about 4 years ago we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed. John was extremely helpful prior to, and during our stay. The accommodation is exactly as described and while the sleeping accommodation on the deck is not for everyone, John has obviously taken great care to accurately describe it in the listing, and it is perfect for our family- as it would be for many other families or couples. The location is fantastic- you can hear the sea! It’s so close to the pier with amusement arcade and to the beach with only a short walk up into town with many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. John had kindly left us milk in the fridge and some biscuits. There is a combination microwave/ oven/ grill and also a hob so we could easily make breakfast and other meals. When we return to Southwold later this year we will definitely check the availability of the Wheelhouse! Thank you John, for a wonderful derail stay over the new year period!

This was the perfect home from home for 3 generations holidaying together - no stairs for grandparents to fall down and plenty of space inside and out for young people to escape. The house is in a lovely quiet location (excellent for star-gazing!) and has a huge garden plus plenty of parking and a real sense of privacy. It came well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including good sharp knives, kitchen scissors, plenty of pans and baking/roasting trays, tin foil, various spices, etc. There were also plenty of cleaning supplies. Maria thoughtfully provided many different kinds of tea, pods for the coffee machine and even some snacks to get us started! The bedrooms are all large and comfortable. Maria is an excellent host who was always quick to respond and help with everything we needed. And the dog, Tiki, is an absolute delight!

We’ve just spent 4 nights at Myrtle Cottage , a fabulous place , nestled in the village of Holme next the sea . It was just as described and didn’t disappoint . Lucy was a great host , giving us lots of information about the property and the local area , which was really helpful as we hadn’t been before , so managed to cram lots of things in . Super dog friendly at the cottage , it’s the small thoughtful touches that stand out and make it like home from home . Our dog , Floyd had a great stay and enjoyed all the fabulous coastline and making new friends in the village pub , The White Horse , which serves lovely food and drink . We will definitely be back to explore further and would highly recommend Myrtle Cottage as a brilliant place to stay .
