Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Bruny

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Ash’s place. Great view and so easy to walk to the beach. Great base to explore Port Arthur. Lovely place.

We were a family of 8 with 2 kids and the place was the perfect size. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was particularly will equipped. A stroll to the beach and the kids loved playing on the rocks. Would highly recommend Opossum Magic.

What a wonderful stay, highly recommend staying here, 10 minutes walk to bruny Island cheese down the road and also to the near by beach. Such a comfortable stay, Linda our host left some complimentary items to make our stay that just little bit more, comfortable beds relaxing couch, beautiful bath tub on the outside balcony plus a huge fire pit for four ppl to sit around, kitchen was spotless with great appliances and crockery, lovely place to turn down too from venturing around bruny Island in your adventures, Will be back for sure.

Pictures cannot describe the beauty of this rental. Would love to stay here again if and when our travels take us back to Tasmania

We truly loved our stay here! The house itself was beautiful and well stocked, over and above the bare minimum. The firepit needed an axe to chop wood, but other than that we had everything we needed :)

We had a wonderful stay at Cheryl’s cottage. It was cosy comfortable and so well maintained. There was so much attention to detail including bunches of flowers from the magnificent garden! The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back.

Superb place. On a dirt road, feels a million miles from everything in the best possible way. Can walk down to the water and there’s a viewing platform there. House was very clean and had everything we needed (two kids - 11 and 9). The only thing I’d add is a bench seat out front to make it easier to get shoes on and off. Super close to Bruny hotel which is great and we saw beautiful sunsets there. There is a convenience store opposite the pub too, but shut for holidays when we were there. Bread fridge 2 minutes away - with the most delicious bread - we picked our up at 9pm so worth checking even late in the day. David was proactive with his communication and the whole process was very easy. A lovely stay! Highly recommended.

Really unique location, beautiful and secluded with a very scenic view. Barbara and Steve’s place is a wonderful retreat and nourishing for the soul. Aside from the stunning location, the house itself is so beautifully built in all its details, both in the architecture and the interior design (featuring art of many local artist). Honestly the -already very nice- photos don’t even do it justice: you really have to experience it. The hosts really thought of absolutely everything to make this a comfortable and homey stay and we appreciated all the little welcoming touches. Barbara was very responsive before and during the stay. We stayed for 3 nights but would very happily stay again for longer!

Enjoyed second stay at “The Hide” Sheepwash Bay. John and Jenene have created the most beautiful place to rest , relax and escape . The property is beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable . Fresh bread still warm from the oven each morning is welcomed treat . The surrounding area is great to explore and the beach a great place to discover beautiful rock pools, driftwood and fresh oysters. This truely is a special place to encounter . Certainly have recommended this property to friends .
