Perfect Summer Waterfront Escape in Opossum Bay We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Opossum Bay! The location is unbeatable—right on the water with a stunning view over the bay at the of the South Arm looking across to Kingston and south of Hobart. Every morning we woke up to a breathtaking panorama, and the sunsets were just as incredible. The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. We loved the outdoor fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings by the water. There’s also access to the most spectacular secluded beach, which was a highlight for us. Whether we were walking along the shore or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it felt like a true getaway. Johnnie was a fantastic host—responsive and welcoming. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a tranquil, scenic retreat in Tasmania away from the usual spots. We can’t wait to return!

This is a luxurious house in an absolutely magical location. I can't recommend it highly enough. The house is extremely stylish, but also comfortable and functional. The view from the patio is gorgeous whatever the weather or time of day. My whole family loved it. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay at Little Oyster Bayview was just amazing. Judy and David were available if needed, and friendly but not intrusive. The design and craftsmanship of the home is incredible. We felt instantly at ease and welcome in the home. We spent a lot of time on the outside deck, soaking in the view and surroundings, day and night. The kitchen is beautifully appointed, with everything you need, and then some. The pantry and fridge provisions were generous, and much appreciated. The bathroom is spotlessly clean, and spacious, which we were grateful for as I am currently on crutches after a knee operation. We were looking for somewhere nice to spend a relaxing few days, and this property delivers in spades. We are already planning a return visit in the cooler months, to enjoy a different aspect of the region.

Great location, close to the beach and shops. Modern home perfect for a family.

Location was great, walking distance to town, cafes and the harbour. Accommodation was good, clean, secure and private. I would recommend the place to friends.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

It was a beautiful stay with lovely surroundings. The rooms and amenities provided were comfortable. Jian and Leo were very responsive. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Hobart.

Had a great stay - the unit was very comfortable and fully kitted out. The kids were kept amused with the board games on offer and the air-con was great to have over the warm couple of days we were there.
