Monthly Rentals in Silver City

We enjoyed our short stay. Extremely peaceful with lovely views yet just 5 minutes to Silver City. The space is small but very comfortable.

Joanie is a responsive host and her place is in a great location. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved our month at the Casita. My favorite part was the sunny back deck. The lack of washer and dryer was no problem, because it was easy to do a quick hand wash in the bathtub and then dry the clotheson the deck—we just bought a clothes drying rack from Walmart and never had to go to the laundromat. The heater worked really well, and it felt so cozy on chilly nights. The Internet was excellent. I worked remotely and never had a problem. The kitchen was great – – microwave, big stove with oven, full-size refrigerator, lots of pots and pans… I did a lot of cooking and it felt like home. The showers were plenty hot. We took short showers and never had any problem with running out of hot water. We were fine without a TV. Silver city is a great place for area hiking (be sure to do the Catwalk) and doing other short trips, such as Chiricahua National Monument (amazing) City of Rocks and Guadalupe National Park. We enjoyed mountain biking in the Bayard trails. We want to come back.

Great location, comfortable stay. This was our first monthlong snowbird adventure as retirees, and this more than met our needs. Silver City is a fun place to get to know, with lots of places to explore and friendly folks. The house is in a walkable neighborhood that is adjacent to a wilderness area, and we were treated to periodic views of area wildlife. Easy access to hiking trails, downtown, WUMC and fun day trips. James was very responsive and helpful.
