The place was ultra convenient for our hiking trip to the Chiracauhua National Monument. Wendy and Gary were very hospitable and aided in our needs fully. The trailer is comfortable and things worked great.

Superb. Joy and Ray were amazing hosts. Proactive for any needs. The design and layout of the guest cottage was private and peaceful, with a full bank of windows facing the upper Cave Creek canyon. Amenities provided were first class. We appreciated the spacious shower and quality bed/bedding. Location was ideal with a hiking path directly accessible, the SWRS within walking distance, and forest service trails easily reachable in minutes by car. We were charmed by the love and attention to detail Joy and Ray have lavished on this property. Our visit was enhanced by the opportunity to meet them and share their wonderful spot on the hillside in the Canyon.

We spent several days at Rhonda and Mark's place over the New Year holiday. The house offers spacious living quarters, a large kitchen with plenty of work space, and great vistas in all directions. The night sky is stunning and the house maintains night-sky friendly outdoor lighting. The house is very clean and we really appreciated the pet-free policy. Rhonda was very responsive.

The Colibri House is a unique Airbnb where we spent three nights and two full days. The house is beautiful. It has charm and totally modern comforts. The kitchen is great with an outdoor grill steps away. It's large and very well equipped. We found all the stables we needed for cooking and storing leftovers. We only used one bedroom and it was very comfortable. Weather was cold during our visit so we spent evenings relaxing in the living room. The house was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. Gayle was great to communicate with and always responded quickly. We spent one day in Portal and the sites near town. We had a tasty lunch at the cafe. We spent our second full day walking around the vineyard and hiking the surrounding area. As a birding destination it was very satisfying. It is also a lovely house and location for unwinding and enjoying the unique landscape of southeast Arizona. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Karen was an excellent host. She was very responsive and helpful. The place was incredibly well set up for my stay. I haven't seen many Airbnb places set up as well with everything you might need and clear instructions. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might want to use. th place was super clean and comfortable. The night sky really was amazing with very little light pollution. The location is very close to a good restaurant with a little store, both of which can be hard to come by on those parts. If you're birding, then it isn't far to get into the canyon and you can catch many of the open yards with feeders along the way. I highly recommend staying at Karen's place.

The Hacienda was the perfect place to call home for our first birding trip to Cave Creek Canyon. The space was clean, comfortable and cozy. We saw lots of birds and wildlife right on the property. And Bill is a knowledgeable and gracious host.

We had a great stay at Steve’s Cowboy Cottage. It was the perfect size for the two of us and was easily accessible for our elderly dog. It had everything we needed for our two night stay. Steve’s a great communicator and quickly responded to questions. You absolutely cannot beat this place if you are a birder. There are several feeders and the birding from the front porch is amazing. Add to that the beautiful views of the Chiricahuas by day and the stars at night—truly a perfect place to stay.

Sunflower Retreat was one of the most fantastic places we have ever stayed! The house and land is of great beauty. The nourishment we got from the experience was profound! Sharon and Rob are excellent hosts and we can’t wait to return again soon.

We loved this peaceful oasis. Sitting outside in the morning and afternoon watching the birds and just relaxing was perfect. The beds were super comfortable but, oh my, the bath towels! Incredibly fluffy and soft. I will be buying some as soon as I get home. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make meals and the big shower was a plus. Diana was quick to communicate and answer all of the questions we had. So close to Chiricahua National Monument and other places to hike. But best of all was Kelsey the pup. She was full of life and so enthusiastic and kept us company whenever we were outside. Sitting by our sides, walking with us and just making our stay joyful. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Well done!!!!
