The stay was gorgeous! Incredible experience for our Matagalpa trip.

Finally a place where we could get a good, quiet night's sleep, away from barking dogs and roosters, high above the city. The hosts were very accommodating and happy to invite us to tour the little farm, join them in a conversation, recommend a great restaurant, ("Taska Mediterranea" excellent fish and fantastic ox tail dinners prepared by a professionally trained sus-chef. They even tailored the background music to our generation). The road on the last few hundred meters is a little rough, but passable, even in a smaller car. The cottage did not have AC or hot water, but the temperature was very comfortable without them. The simple furnishing is adequate. Overall, we recommend the place for the peace of mind, security and opportunity to relax and enjoy the countryside, while being in close proximity to all the amenities of the city below.

If you are looking for a place to relax and be away from a noisy area but at the same time close to the city this is the place indicated in Matagalpa, also the house was super clean, Mayela is close to the house to help you in whatever you need, but at the same time there is a lot of privacy. We will definitely return. Making a delicious local coffee that Mayela offered us was wonderful!

Jeanet and Vilma who live in the house are very welcoming. Crossing through their house is no problem at all. they helped us out with anything we needed. I would definitely return next time I'm in Matagalpa.
