Cottage vacation rentals in Seaside

This was our second stay. The new fence makes the yard private and completely escape proof! The house has at-home vibes...hard to describe how cozy and welcoming it feels. The holiday weekend created a lot of traffic and it was busy outside, so it was nice to have a comfy refuge to retreat to. The upstairs bedroom is absolutely adorable. Nice touches throughout- beautiful bedding, good-smelling soap, fully stocked kitchen. Kelli is so friendly, approachable and helpful- a pleasure to interact with. We're already thinking about when we'll get to go again!

We had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving week! The home was beautiful and private and it was nice listening to the waves at night from the back porch. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place is fantastic! We stayed here for a friend’s 50th birthday and we had an absolutely incredible time. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of blankets, towels, and overall every little thing we needed and could have wanted for a cozy stay. The fireplace was incredible after cold days walking on the beach! The hosts were incredible - super responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

Carol was a fantastic host, responsive and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Cute and cozy cabin with a big hot tub! She provides a book with helpful local resources such as beaches, restaurants, stores and shops, along with sharing the history of this sweet cabin built in 1971. It was a very short walk to the expansive beach, local pub and food market. We stayed in December which was quiet and not crowded, even had some sunny days! Lots to explore without a car but also not a far drive to many other beaches and small towns to explore as well. We had a most relaxing and lovely stay and would highly recommend Carol’s cabin for your next beach getaway!!

Such a cute little get away!!! The hot tub was definitely the highlight feature for Us and there is a fabulous Thai restaurant about a 3 minute drive. Loved that we had some rainy weather to feel the coziness of the space. Hosts were fantastic with their communication

Stevie’s place was clean, comfortable, and peaceful with great access to the beach. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and Stevie’s local recommendations!

We felt the most at home at Nat and Nadja’s place compared to any other vacation rental. It’s clear they put a lot of thought and care into their property to make it comfortable for guests, from the decor to the stocked bathroom and kitchen items, including a juicer (and oranges in the fruit bowl), the sitting area without tv downstairs so you can just unplug and relax, a tv room upstairs with a coffee table perfect for puzzles, and cozy throw blankets. Nat and Nadja were very responsive and helpful when we had an issue with the fireplace and ahead of our stay, were quick to assure me regarding my need for minimal/mild scents to avoid migraine triggers. The property is a one minute walk to the beach, and at night you can hear the ocean waves while soaking in the hot tub. As for privacy, there are neighbors all around but you don’t get any type of feeling you’re in a fishbowl or anything. We really appreciate the check in/out times. It was a wonderful stay for us for thanksgiving week!

We stayed here last year, had to come back for another awesome stay at the Scottage! Easy walk to the beach was able to catch a few sunsets/sunrises. Close to everything. Cozy when the fireplace is turned on.

This is such a gem! The beach on the river is absolutely beautiful. Astoria, Fort Clatsop, Fort Stevens, and Cape Disappointment are amazing places to bike, walk, and explore. Price is right!

Even though there were only five adults, 1 infant, I picked this two cottage setup because each family had their own bedroom and bathroom. The location is ideal. I thoroughly enjoyed walking the Promenade. Being so close to the beach was crazy amazing for all of us! Thank you, Erin

Great peaceful place with a very helpful and responsive host perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. Over the top dog friendly! Our 4 year old daughter loved playing dress up. So close to the beach, but you have to walk further away from it before you can walk to it. Not a big deal and was clear about that in the description.

Very cozy and sweet home. Love being on the beach. Perfect location to places in the north and south of Rockaway Beach. No crowds in November!

Such a cozy cottage right on the water! My senior dog and I stayed for the weekend and the one level layout was really easy for her. Super clean and the design used the space really well. Several comfy places to sit and watch the water while working or reading. Wi-fi was fast enough to stream video and work. Direct access to the Columbia banks/beach from the backyard, well-equipped kitchen, and very comfy bed. I got really lucky with the weather, but I imagine the place would also be lovely to watch a storm. Jeff and Traci are also super communicative and nice! Highly recommend this property and I would definitely be back.

We needed a last minute place to stay and were thankful that we found a place with a washer and dryer. Had a lovely stay!

A lovely home away from home in Cape Meares. Excellent location close to path down to the beach. Cottage is thoughtfully furnished and generously supplied. Easy and friendly communications with Lucy. Wonderful kitchen with many windows - well supplied for cooking and serving meals. The ground floor living area has plenty of seating. We enjoyed using the fireplace one evening. Good sized full bathroom downstairs beside the principal downstairs bedroom. The large upstairs bedroom with half bathroom en suite has an amazing view of the ocean and includes a lovely seating area. We hope to return!

Porcupine Cottage is delightful! A little bit of a drive, but really not bad, especially because you get away from all the hubbub in town and kick off your shoes on the deck, surrounded by gardens, forests and serenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! Would definitely go back.

This was honestly a perfect experience for us and exactly what we wanted for a Thanksgiving trip to the beach. Cozy, amazing views, had everything we needed to make ourselves a little feast and just enjoy some holiday downtime as a family! We’d love to come back!

Our stay was lovely. The house is very cozy and accommodated all our needs. I highly reccommend!

What a wonderful place to decompress! The cabin is rustic, clean and quiet. It is right on the shore of the Columbia River estuary and experiences high and low tides, so that was really nice. It's dark at night so you can see the stars. I sat on the porch and watched the sun set over the water. You can get to the beach directly from the property, but it's a little treacherous. You have to climb down a few boulders (and then back up). I'm 70 and I managed, so it obviously isn't that bad, but beware if you have mobility issues and want to get right onto the beach.
