Tarita has a great little hidden gem here! My son and I wanted a quick little get away and we will definitely bring the whole family next time. My son loved the loft bed climb and it was all so clean and lovely. Once we found the heaters it was quite cozy in the evening and the view by the little lake was the best in the morning. We also loved how Victoria was only a 10 minute drive away. So worth it to have our own little paradise to come back to at the end of a long touristy day. Thank you Tarita! Hostess with the mostess.

A beautiful location by the sea - I would never tire of waking up to that view! We loved that everything was set up to soak in the view: the outdoor seating, the sofa, the bed and even the bath! Such a peaceful and restorative stay - thank you 🤗

Here peace arrives without a name, And time forgets its claim to run. The world, once wild, is soft and tame— Beneath the clouds, beneath the sun. Peace is what the soul needs. I wrote that to describe this place. The lovely setting on a small bay, watching the resident eagle, seeing otters feed and play in the bay. A little early for some seasonal things, but the tranquility is exactly what we needed. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful setting.

Cozy little place with waterfront view. Very peaceful and close to everything important! We even walked to some short hiking trails and to the beach. Sabrina was very friendly and reactive, she gave us all the information that we needed and the instructions to find the place and check-in were perfectly accurate! Everything was cleaned, the kitchen is more than fully equipped and we slept like babies!!! It was great, I 100% recommend.

We loved this amazing view home in Nanaimo. It is comfortable and extremely clean. Brian is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He has gone the extra mile to make your stay memorable by having so many extras available for your enjoyment like kayaks, crab traps and even extra shoes! The home has an incredible view and water access that offers a beautiful place to relax each day. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and otters from the deck! My 4 yr old grandson loved watching the ferries and float planes. Nanaimo was so fun. We are planning on coming back and definitely want to stay at this home again.

It was perfect for a long weekend. Close enough to town to grab groceries or a meal but you truly felt in the middle of nowhere. The property is amazing and you could not leave for days and be content. Bruce and Mary Jane were really responsive hosts and we had a lovely time! We had an electric car and there’s charging at the grocery store and a few other locations in town.

Annika’s home was beautiful - a true sanctuary. The access to the beach at low tide was a blast for our kids and we were treated to beautiful sunsets every night and even had an eagle perch on a branch outside to have its dinner. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of games and toys for the kids. Our kids are already asking when we can return.

We had an amazing and memorable weekend on Deanna's houseboat, filled with lots of time in the water and exploring the lake. Deanna suggested we bring a tent or sleeping pads for our group of 4 guys, and that suggestion worked out perfectly. The houseboat itself was ideal, and we made great use of the paddleboards. While not the fastest boat on the lake (maybe the slowest?), we actually really enjoyed the relaxed pace of our exploring and spent plenty of time stopped to swim. Overall we loved the boat, and would highly recommend booking if you want a unique lake experience.

A beautiful setting that is a great place to relax with a few couples. It is roomy and has great gathering and relaxation spots inside and out. There lots of kitchen implements for cooking, tons of linen, and it’s very clean.

I should not put out how great my stay was because I’m booking it again multiple times this year and don’t want competition! Absolutely perfect!

We had a great stay at the treehouse. The lake and forest were incredibly beautiful as well as peaceful and quiet. We took some beautiful walks while we were there. Katerina, Dave, and Tico we very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Daniel’s place on Quadra was wonderful. It made me feel like I was visiting a family cottage. Every small detail was taken care of down to the full towel closet, a pantry and spice cupboard, and the espresso machine. Sitting in the front room looking out at the ocean, watching the birds and seals and orcas go by during the rain was food for the soul. We’ll definitely be back.

This lovely lake cabin was a perfect spot to escape to as a couple. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, water toys, various seating options(we used them all!), hot tub, and cozy cabin interior with lots of thoughtful touches. Hosts were friendly but gave plenty of privacy. Thank you Catherine and Owen.. We would love to stay again.

The epitome of charming. I arrived to what immediately felt like home, the beautiful views, the cozy atmosphere. After about 5 minutes I couldn’t even spell the word stress. Soaking in the hot tub surrounded by trees, we were in our own little world. Then to wake and enjoy a coffee looking out onto the glassy lake, just what the doctor ordered. Everything was so straightforward it made for a wonderfully getaway. Absolutely beautiful place. I also loved the cribbage board, the biggest one I’d ever seen!

The Homestead is a beautiful home in a beautiful, quiet location with amazing views. The house is clean, and overall is good but has many small annoyances of items that haven’t been well maintained. - Stove top elements: some don’t work, those that do are very finnicky and jump from very hot to cool repeatedly while using - Kitchen sink is near to falling out / disconnecting from the counter - Dishwasher soap door is gone & can’t seem to change settings (but does still clean) - Blinds make a horrible high pitched squeal when rolling down - Window crank handles fall off when using - Shower handles super loose and wobbly - Downstairs toilet wobbles - Hot tub has a broken jet and some buttons that don’t work (but is still hot and bubbles) - Fireplace in photos is not usable

Our 4th time at this lovely Airbnb. We truly think of it as our home away from home. Courtney is the best host!

Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

The house was great. Super clean and in a beautiful location. Really appreciated the well set up kitchen. We were having a chill out style get away and this house was perfect for my family. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, loved the location.

Great place to stay for our trip to Whistler! Large amount of space and dog friendly. Close to the bus stop to get us to the slopes and village. Very quiet and clean. Thank you!

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Very nice house. It had ample space for our entire family. The older kids loved the hot tub, and we loved the location. It was an excellent central location for all of our adventures.
