Maria is the best host we’ve ever had through Air BnB. We can’t recommend her highly enough and have already recommended the lodge to multiple friends. She has excellent recommendations and takes very good care to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable.

Amazing place! Gorgeous property, extremely well appointed and comfortable down to the welcome wine and chocs! Over and above what you would expect. Views were incredible and a bonus with the animals onsite meaning always something going on whilst sipping coffee on the balcony. Duncan and Adrian here perfect hosts even being our personal taxi service! Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. We wish it could have been a bit longer. We enjoyed the extra goodies and snacks etc. that were waiting for us on arrival. The view out of the lounge and bedroom windows is fantastic. The house has everything you could want on your stay. We spent our day in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Both lovely places and well worth the visit. We would definitely return again and thoroughly recommend staying here.

Fantastic find for the active person, the cottage was exactly as described and the location was ideal for myself and my family plus our dogs to venture around the local area be mindful that everything is a walk as there are no bars and restaurants or amenities around the area which Angela preinformed on the listing so we knew this you can walk to the local town but it is around 3 mile away and on mainly single track roads which was fine for us, but those less able may struggle but as we said, this was well informed by the host. The cottage was clean the beds were comfortable. Do you mean it were perfect and the little veranda that is secured? Was ideal to not have to worry about our pets also. We will definitely be back.
