Monthly Rentals in Sandgate

I am a return visitor, so I will repeat my last review, which is as follows: Highly recommended place to stay in Folkestone & Mark and Brenda are great hosts. The place is on a quiet road with access to nice well kept Gardens across the road which is a nice bonus. Close to the Leas, which is a coastal park, with excellent views across the channel to France and Dungeness down the Kent coast, from the Leas there are numberous steps and paths down to the beach, or can do a coastal walk at the top of the cliff, or both if fancy some more up hill exercise! Places recommended in Folkestone include, trip to the Harbour arm, nice eat in and take away food places, bars and restaurants. Restaurants worth checking out include Sotirios Bar & Restaurant, The Restaurant MS, Rocksalt, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, The Cliffe Lounge Bar & Kitchen. For Fish and chips, Papas fish and chips, Harbour Fish Bar & Sandys. Great walks down the coast in both directions.

This is an impeccable house, in a wonderful location. Everything had been carefully thought out and provided. The views are stunning - even from the shower!- and the furnishings tasteful and comfortable. Sandgate itself has some good places to eat, a nice village shop selling the essentials plus a couple of delis and a weekend Farmers’ Market, and is an easy walk equidistant from Hythe and Folkestone for more. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We had a lovely 6 night stay at Clare’s house. Ideally located in Sandgate so great for walking, cycling and of course the beach which is less than 2 minutes away. Clare gave great recommendations on places to eat in Sandgate, we ended up having The Fat Raj twice as we enjoyed it so much. The house is as described and has everything required for a comfortable stay. Clare is very responsive to messages and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was our second stay and was every bit as good as we remembered. The flat is spacious and comfortable with many thoughtful things provided. The flat is really close to the seafront (plus some great shops and cafes) and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather during our stay. The parking space is a bonus (if a tad challenging) and EV charging is available in the car park just along the street. Thank you again Nikki
