Sanibel Romantic Getaway

We love Sanibel. Nancy’s place met our needs very well. It is an easy walk to the beach and very comfortable. We were very happy to be able to have our two little dogs with us for a very reasonable fee.

Charming Keys Style house

Our stay was perfect with everything we needed for our stay. The patio out back was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. We enjoyed the front porch area as a more private area to relax. Great location.

We celebrated big birthdays and anniversaries with everyone in my immediate family! Plenty of room to spread out and gather together. We loved having a pickle ball court on the premises, as well as a beautiful pool area! Leiden was very responsive! Whatever we needed it was done with a smile! We hope to be back some day.

Villa Dolphin Cove - Desired Neighborhood Minutes

EivindRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had two weeks in the house provided for us in Cape Coral. The house was perfect for us, and it looked even better in real life, than on the pictures. It’s a luxury with our own pool just outside our master bedroom. And Christian gave us a warm welcome and gave us all the information we needed.

Dream Villa with Private Pool/Spa

AnnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great place for our family of 9. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended staying here. Responses from the host were always timely and all questions were answered. Great place to relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. The huge iguanas were so exciting for the grandkids to see and my son also caught a few bluegills in the canal. 😎🌴

Waterfront Villa Island Breeze heated pool & spa

KristyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This house was everything that we could have asked for. Unfortunately, we came when the weather was in the 50s but the heated pool and spa definitely made our time worth it. I was continuously impressed with the things this house offered. As a mom of 3, I’m already overwhelmed with the things I need to pack for my family. This house had it all. It included: beach toys, pool noodles, mini paddle boards, a pack and play (I believe, I didn’t look too closely), a beach bag, bikes, a high chair, umbrella, etc., everything you need to stay here! In addition to the wide variety of items, the hosts were very responsive. The only thing I did not enjoy was the firmness of the king bed but I also know that’s something you can’t win with everyone. I also would have appreciated a carbon monoxide detector but we ended up bringing our own. I would still choose to stay here aside from that :) My kids loved the “pool house.” We hope to be back again!

5 Bed/4 Bath Saltwater Pool Home plus BOAT!

BarbRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved staying at Joe and Stephanie’s place! It had everything we needed and more! Such a beautiful house, and so clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space for all 10 of us to hang out in, and even though the Florida weather was unseasonably cool, we did manage to have a beautiful day in the pool and hot tub and a relaxing boat ride as well! We really enjoyed riding the bikes down to the farmers market, and having the fishing gear available for us to use was awesome! The board games and the pool table were great for the cooler days, and the beach chairs and umbrella came in handy for our one day at the beach! The grill was perfect for cooking dinner right at home, and there were plenty of utensils and dinner ware for preparing meals with ease in the spacious kitchen. The beds were clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of beach towels and toiletries for all of us. Loved the big screen tv for movie nights too! And the decor is well thought out! Would stay again!

*Hidden Oasis* Heated Pool w/ Tranquil Spa. Beach!

BarbaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Patrick was the most responsive host I have ever encountered. Whenever I messaged, there was a response in very short time. The house was adorable. It easily housed family members and friends who came in and out during my 2 weeks stay. The pool was wonderful - clean, water warm enough for comfort but cool enough to be refreshing. The house was easy walking distance to Publix, Whole Foods, Wallgreens and CVS. I was happy to find it was also walking distance to LA Fitness. Nearby is also a small upscale shopping area called Mercato that has Nordstrom Rack, Sur la Table and some other nice stores and restaurants. The kitchen was adequately appointed which we appreciated as we mostly ate in. The grill is a bit old and rusty and would not ignite but we didn't mind. The beach is an easy 25 minute walk and there are beach chairs, toys and a beach wagon at the house. There were more than enough towels. All in all, I was very happy with my time there.

Modern Direct Beachfront | 3-Bedroom & 2.5 Bath

KathleenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was everything we had hoped for and more. A gorgeous beachfront home with spectacular ocean views! The pictures are exactly what it looks like in person. We stayed a week and ended it on my birthday. Strolls along the long shoreline, pelicans flying by, dolphins swimming right out front, morning runs with beautiful sunrises and of course some of the most amazing sunsets! The property manager, Arlan, was on it and made sure we were well taken care of. We even met the owner who came by a couple of times to meet some workers. Also, Very nice and courteous! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon! Thank you! Trehern family

Lone Palm Retreat is a beachfront home

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The location was fantastic, very private and perfect for families with kids. When we arrived, I was initially a bit disappointed to discover a second rental space upstairs, I must have missed that upon booking but fortunately, it remained unoccupied throughout our stay. The views were stunning, and the convenience of being within walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants was a major plus. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Hoping to return soon!

Bonita Breeze Retreat - 1 minute walk to the Beach

BarronRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Crissy’s place over Christmas with our two little kids (1 and 3 years old) and it was fantastic. The place was clean, with nice furniture, a great aesthetic, and a good use of space. Crissy had stocked the place thoughtfully with everything from great beach gear to kitchen gadgets to games. Crissy even setup a Christmas tree because she knew we were bringing young children (which really brought the place together for the holidays). The location was great with a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and a 10-15 minute walk (all side walk) to a popular beach restaurant / bar / breakfast spot / jet ski rental place named Doc’s. There are only a few beach access points along Bonita Beach and Crissy’s property is right next to one of them. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again.

Beach View Getaway at Gullwing Beach Resort

Ann MarieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Beach View Getaway at Gullwing Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, Lisa proved to be the best host anyone could ask for. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating, ensuring that our every need was met promptly and efficiently. The property itself exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a perfect home away from home. There was construction still going on but that didn’t stop the overall charm of the condo, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to stay in Fort Myers. Thank you, Lisa, for making our trip so memorable.

Your guide to Naples

All About Naples

Ritzy Naples offers metropolitan glamour alongside the white sands of the Gulf Coast. Mediterranean-style mansions, marquee golf courses, and upscale shopping and dining corridors make Naples the posh centerpiece of Southwest Florida. Naples is also home to such world-class cultural institutions as the Baker Museum, where 15 galleries focus on contemporary and modern works. You can stroll among turn-of-the-century homes and mature palms in charming Old Naples, or drive inland to explore the sun-dappled environs of pristine swampland. Opportunities for day trips to suit all moods also abound: You can make the short journey to glossy resort-mecca Marco Island, or opt for a more laid-back excursion to outdoorsy Bonita Springs.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Naples

Naples enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year. June through September are hot, with average highs in the low 90s Fahrenheit. October and November cool off slightly, with average temperatures in the low to high 80s, and from December through February, temperatures dip into the 70s. March through May climb back into the 80s. Naples experiences lots of rainfall June through September, and a little bit all year round, so plan ahead and pack for wet weather.

Top things to do in Naples

Naples Botanical Garden

Among the offerings of this 170-acre park are nine distinct gardens, a Javanese temple, hammocks, bocce ball courts, and a children’s garden outfitted with a treehouse. The plants, of course, are the stars: They include orchids from around the world, banyan trees, colorful and fragrant plumeria, and towering palms, all thriving within meticulously landscaped grounds. The park is also home to a 90-acre nature preserve inhabited by gopher tortoises, and a visitor’s center built of ancient cypress logs reclaimed from the bed of the Apalachicola River.

Vanderbilt Beach

About 20 minutes from downtown, this is a lively beach where sunseekers play and mingle. The appeal of this stretch of powdery white sand, lapped by the gem-toned waters of the Gulf of Mexico, hasn’t gone unnoticed by developers, and vacationers from nearby hotels and resorts come here to frolic in the shadow of luxury. This means you’ll find everything you need for a fun day at the beach close at hand, including gear rentals and tropical drinks. Arrive early in the morning for a more sedate atmosphere and top-notch shelling.

Audubon Society Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary

Leave the city behind and enter this fascinating and beautiful 13,000-acre nature sanctuary, where a 2.5-mile boardwalk will carry you through a dazzling mixture of flora, including the largest old-growth bald cypress forest in North America. Bald cypresses, which are related to redwood trees, can grow to 130 feet and are furred in gently swaying mosses and colorful bromeliads. In the summer, look out for the white blooms of delicate and rare ghost orchids.

The park is home to deer, alligators, otters, and turtles, but many flock here for the birds. The park is a vaunted stop on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, and is home to barred owls, red-tailed hawks, and the rainbow-hued painted bunting, to name a few.
