Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Royal Tunbridge Wells

A great place for a cosy stay in peaceful countryside. Mark’s place was easy to find, he was a communicative host and the house had great amenities for self catering. There was even a Christmas tree for the festive period! Would highly recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the straw barn and hope we can do so again in the near future.

we had such a wonderful stay at Katrina's place. it suited our big group of adults, children and dogs perfectly. the place was immaculate and the fires a real bonus. we could walk the dogs to the beach and Katrina gave us great recommendations for other spots to visit. Katrina was a generous host who waited to check us in when we got stuck in traffic. the only slight downside was a noisy boiler system but this was a small issue for such a great stay. thank you Katrina!!

Simply a wonderful home with absolutely everything you might need. Truthfully it was even better than the photos, tastefully decorated, with lots of nice little touches like the record player with really good vinyl selection, lots of candles and to our sheer surprise also breakfast items. We travelled with a dog so the garden at the back was brilliant, a sturdy baby gate for the stairs was a great idea too. Clutter-free home meant that the pup could roam free downstairs and throws to cover the furniture were provided. we travelled in the winter and the house was warm and cosy, amazingly close to Dunorlan Park for a lovely walk. There's a corner shop nearby and the train station is either a 25min walk or £7 taxi ride. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home Jen, all the best.

Just got back from a great stay at Andy’s charming cottage in Hastings. Loads of character and homey touches include a super friendly and cute black cat. Fabulous location just right for country walks and short stroll down hill to Old Town pubs and cafes. Spent cozy evenings by the wood burner. Andy was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended with everything you need for an arty / funky stay in a cute and quirky little cottage!

Lucy's house is stunning! The photos do not do it justice. It's old, interesting, characterful, impressive - but somehow also manages to be cosy and homely. Such a good vibe here, we had a truly lovely weekend's stay, reconnecting a special friendship group. We were 5 families with 10 children - and they voted this the 'Best Weekend Ever'. Lucy was responsive throughout when we had a couple of queries over a missing corkscrew and wobbly door on the aga she'd not had a chance to fix yet. We want to thank Lucy for sharing her beautiful home - and we may well make this an annual visit, if she'll have us!

Perfect house - we were a group of 8 old friends reuniting with a weekend away and it couldn’t have been a better place. Clean spacious house, super comfortable beds and great kitchen area with lovely garden for BBQs and ping pong table was great. Walking distance to the beach and Rye just a bit further. Will be back!!

We loved our stay at Tom and Rachel's place. The location is fab, very short walk from the station, in the popular but not overcrowded seven dials area. easy check in and very straightforward to find. proactive and friendly host. flat has got everything you need and furnished beautifully. fast WiFi. lovely touches such as fresh milk in fridge and penguin biscuits on the table. Thanks for having us!

The apartment is on the top floor of an old converted house and is beautifully finished. The furnishings are mostly vintage and fit perfectly with the style and layout. The kitchen is well fitted with high quality equipment (Smeg) and was spotlessly clean. There was basic food and milk and refreshments for guest use which was nice. The heating was also very good which was important because when we arrived it was terrible weather. However on the following day the storm cleared and the view from the 4 windows in the living space over the sea were fabulous. All in all highly recommended if you are looking for something close to the town and the sea that comfortably accommodates 2 couples.

I stayed in Alexandre‘s apartment with my ten year old son and we both fell in love with the place at first sight. The high ceilings, the old wooden floor, the furniture, the views - everything is beautiful. Alexandre’s taste is exceptionally good. The view into the backyard, which is full of trees, is totally soothing. While having breakfast, we spotted squirrels, birds and two foxes strolling around. Alexandre was very helpful and always replied within very short time. We also appreciated the area very much. There are some really good cafés - and the Asian restaurants on Preston Street are just amazing. My son said, he could „eat in this street for the rest of his life.“ I almost agreed. ;) Hope to come back one day! Thank you, Alexandre!

Great location to stay after a meal at the Ginger Pig, brunch at Rockwater and for walks along the promenade!

It looked exactly like the photos, and was spacious, comfortable and clean. Tess was very responsive and helpful with instructions. I would definitely stay here again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay. The location was amazing so close to the beach for the children and cavapoo to let off some steam! The host was wonderful and so accommodating allowing us an early check in and later check out. Communication was really excellent and the host replied quickly. All instructions and rules were clearly set out and made our stay very easy and comfortable. We had everything we needed at the house. We appreciated all the lovely artwork and chic soft furnishings in the house - the children especially liked playing 'spot the whale' inside. What a fantastic Christmas we all had! Thank you very much for all your hard work. We would not hesitate to recommend.

This was our 2nd stay at Little Rock and it was just as wonderful this time. The house is well equipped & comfortable, set in beautiful grounds and built into the hillside. We almost didn't notice the storm raging across the UK, except for the power cuts during our stay. Stuart was a great host from beginning to end of our stay, very responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay, especially helpful when the power went out across the region. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Little Rock and we'll definitely be back to stay.

I was in the area for work and usually stay in a hotel or B &B. Staying in a static was a first and something I would definitely repeat. It was clean, well equipped and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Antonio’s house. It is very large and beautifully furnished. It’s actually a converted pub and there’s an amazing bar as soon as you enter the house, which we made full use of! The garden is beautiful and the hot tub is a great addition. There were 10 of us and the house was perfect for our group and so spacious. It’s clearly a ‘home’ and everything you could need is provided. We had lunch at the Salehurst Halt - highly recommend - the food was excellent!
