Luke made us very welcome, and we had a relaxing time, enjoying playing games round the kitchen table and visiting the ironworks, which the children loved, and Montgomery. Bunners was a real treasure trove which we all found fascinating. Sadly we had to leave early, but hope to return for another trip, Thank you Luke

Jenny and her husband were there to greet me (and Humph the terrier) with a warm welcome as I arrived in the dark on a cold and wet November evening after a long journey (aftermath of Storm Bert!). Apartment 2 at The Porch House was warm and cosy. It's fascinating to sit quietly contemplating (and read about) the history that this building has encountered. It's perfectly placed on the High Street within stepping distance of all the amenities this wonderful town has to offer. No traffic lights, no roundabouts, no one way systems here. I took the dog out for a stroll at 7.30am and everyone we encountered, without fail, said "Good Morning"! The Poetry Pharmacy is a must visit, it's honestly possible to spend whole hours in there browsing the books and sipping coffee". "Rosie's" just around the corner is another gem, I challenge anyone to go in there and not find some treasured item to take home.

Amazing space, highly recommend staying here. Home from home every creature comfort you can think of. Lovely estate wonderful walks and amazing to see the pheasant shoot taking place. Will definitely stay here again, in fact cant wait as its ideal for exploring so many wonderful places.

Carolines place was beautiful. Tucked away in a very peaceful and quiet area surrounded by starlings that were flying over us our whole stay, it was exactly what we needed when looking for time out of our busy lives. Caroline was also very helpful and responsive to any needs we had. Would highly recommend.
