Vacation rentals in Rockland

The stay was just what we needed to gather family for Christmas. Very spacious, and great accommodations for families traveling with kids. Plan to utilize this space again in the future! Communication during the stay was great, but we did have to call the host the day of to get the code for check-in as we didn’t receive a message response. Not necessarily an issue but something to be aware - two of the bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom have skylights.

We loved that it had 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. everyone had a good bed and no waiting for bathrooms. We played games provided. It was also awesome to have 2 full kitchens. It is plenty close to Three Bears Resort. We bought day passes for our group.

My out-of-state adult children were delighted to stay at Carol's place over the holidays. They thought it was one of the nicest Airbnbs they've stayed at over the years, with a very cozy, homey feel. Several members of my family have sensitivities to scents and really appreciated that there weren't any artificial fragrances in the house or strong detergent smells in the bedding. They also said the cotton sheets were wonderful. The whole house was super clean and well appointed. Personally, Carol was great to work with in setting up the reservation. She was the most pro-active Airbnb host that I've ever worked with, checking in several times with me to make sure that all of my family's needs would be met. I would very highly recommend her home if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in the area. She's an excellent host!

Perfect escape—Mike and Sheila are wonderful hosts, and responsive to questions. The setting of the Mill is breathtaking. I travel globally, and this was probably the coziest place I ever been (note—I was very comfortable, even in the -17F temperatures!). Nice linens, great little kitchen, pristine bathroom, and a notably flattering bathroom mirror! On this jaunt, I was a solo (female) traveler, and felt perfectly at ease. I was visiting to do some writing, and the Driftless views from every window inspired me. Yes! I will be back!

We rented Daniel's home for our family Christmas. There were 6 adults, 6 children and our lab. The home was spacious enough we didn't feel we were on top of each other. There were plenty of sleeping spaces and having 2 1/2 bathrooms was a huge plus. The kids and Dads had a blast in the garage playing foosball. It was great having a place for the kids to go and play that allowed them to stretch out and make noise without having to worry about disturbing the other family members. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Daniel had the whole house decorated for Christmas including a beautiful tree. He really made sure our stay was perfect. Daniel was very responsive to the few questions we had, and very friendly. The family requested we rent it again next year for our family Christmas, they enjoyed it so much!

Very cute little place with views from the door of the Mississippi River. It was a great base for our ice fishing expedition. A bait shop right down the road and many points to access the water with parking within minutes of driving. That being said it's a house on a hill. Don't bring your front wheel drive with bald tires then complain about the location. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay for outdoor adventures, this is the place.

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

We really enjoyed the stay! The cabin was more beautiful on the inside than we expected. It’s well set up for a small group. Atty the dog was very sweet! As an FYI, she did stay right outside our door almost the whole time we were there. It drove our dog crazy! For that reason we won’t be able to bring our dog along next time if we rebook. Atty also followed us along on a walk. She walked in the middle of the road and did not respond to our commands. We were very concerned about her safety as there are blind spots on the road. One car had to drive on the other side of the road to get around her. Fortunately he saw us and slowed way down. When I asked Gloria to call her home, she was not able to do so until hours later. So we weren’t able to enjoy walks because we felt too responsible for Atty. Otherwise everything was very nice! As an fyi, some type of pesticide is used in the home.
