Vacation rentals in Wausau

We had a relaxing Labor day weekend get away. We used the kayaks and paddle boat to check out the river. Did some fishing and caught some fish. Waking up to the the beautiful backyard view every morning.

Beautiful home and location. Maddie was response and answered questions in timely manner. Home is extremely comfortable and location is amazing. Being able to watch the ice fishermen drive up and fish from living room windows was really fun. A major plus was being able to bring our two smaller dogs. They loved the area and you would never know other pets had relaxed in this home. Very clean. We will be back!

Charming house, private location but still very close to town. All the amenities that are needed were there and clearly labeled, so easy to find. The automatic door lock scared our dog, but was a nice security feature for us humans. The fenced in area of the yard was nice, but even better was the ability to walk down the long driveway and around the pond with our dog- she loved that. There were a lot of dead asian beetles upstairs, but I understand those can be out of the owners control. We loved the property on a rainy and foggy December weekend- I imagine it would be amazing if we came back during the summer when we could sit outside and enjoy a fire and the night sky. Thanks Alexandria for being a great host for our Christmas getaway.

This is a lovely home and a great place to stay. It fit our needs perfectly as a family visiting the area for a wedding. It sits in a quiet, landscaped setting, is comfortably furnished with high quality amenities, and is well maintained. The lake is perfect if you are looking for a natural setting with plenty of birds and wildlife - if you are looking for a sandy beach, lots of open water, or an "all sports" lake it might not be for you.

A few buddies and I stayed here for our yearly ski trip and it was perfect! The bar area was awesome and full of activities such as pool, darts, bags, and a perfect table for some card games. The place was well kept and plenty of blankets, pillows and beds for everyone. Overall, Dawn was a great host, thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful lakehouse!

it was a pleasure staying at Jennifer's place.. it was just what we were looking for. amazing views right off the lake. beautiful deck facing the lake, I highly recommend that you or anyone looking for a place in heaven to stay at Jennifer's place.

Great place. Had some horse barrel racing going on. This was fun to have there over the time we were there. Great view of the property from the huge windows on all rooms.

Home was gorgeous! The big open windows let in lots of natural light and out looked the whole yard! There was tons of wildlife! We saw lots of deer, cranes, and lots of other birds! This is a great spot for large families/groups looking to disconnect and spend time together! One of the nights we laid in the backyard looking at the stars and there is little to no light pollution so you could see so many stars clearly in the sky! We even saw a few shooting stars!! Host was extremely responsive and helped with anything we needed quickly! Game room was a plus! We brought our record player and listened to music while playing pool and poker in the game room! Plenty of room at the basement bar to make drinks as well! There is WiFi at the house, but this location is secluded and once you leave the home you may have no cell service. We were able to get around without cell service just fine through Apple Maps/ google maps. Once in town service worked fine! (Food/grocery within 30 mins of home
