Cottage retreat by the seaside

This private cottage is in the heart of Clevedon with easy access to the Clevedon beach front from great coastal walks and to visit our Grade 1* pier. There are also some lovely local restaurants to choose from if you do not want to cook. Great for couples, business travellers and families (with kids who like sofa beds). There is a nice TV, WiFi and we are about to install a wood burner to compliment the air conditioning system for the cottage venting in the bedroom and living space.

Approached up a quarter mile long driveway, this is the west wing of a large Cotswold farmhouse set in a courtyard within 12 acres of fields and is the most perfect retreat. Where possible a two nights stay over weekend please. The wing has its own private front door and is self contained. It is immaculately clean and has BT broadband wifi. Outside we have an astro tennis court and have an area beside there with chairs and table to sit and relax

Ivy Cottage was a great location to enjoy the Cotswolds. Just a short walk to the center of the village and footpaths to walk to the Slaughters and Stow on the Wold. The Cottage was clean, quiet, and comfortable with a beautiful sunroom. Gemma was also very helpful and responsive. One of our best Airbnb experiences! Would come here again.

We stayed as a family for my husband’s 60th. The cottage has all you need with lovely features. It is very cosy and homely with lots of space. The outdoor areas are beautiful and secluded - we had breakfast outside and evening drinks in the sunshine. The outdoor spaces were really safe for our dog. Our teenage son loved the pool table! Gavin and Liz responded very quickly to any queries and checking was very easy. Dolgellau is a short walk away and is a stunning place with fabulous scenery and walks. I would definitely recommend and have already encouraged my friends and family to visit. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Clerk Cottage is a true delight, by far one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Every detail has been thought of in order to ensure a comfortable stay, very high quality, we loved it. Have to also mention the fabulous shower! Close to some great walks through the church grounds. I hope being right next to a graveyard doesn’t put you off as this cottage is a true gem. So much we extended our stay and can highly recommend, thank you Claire.

Absolutely lovely cottage in a lovely location! It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Kim gave us very clear instructions on how to find the cottage, along with lots of recommendations of things to do! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need for cooking, the only thing we would change would be having salt and pepper shakers rather than sachets. We really enjoyed the different flavoured coffees! We really enjoyed the local area- the local pub is a 3 minute walk away, and we also visited the local shop. We walked along the canal from the village to Crickhowell, which was a very easy and beautiful route! If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the bike hire in the village. The only thing we would have added would have been some board games/card games for when the weather isn’t on side! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again. Thank you, Kim.

We spent 2 nights at Sugarloaf cottage as we wanted to get some walking done in the Brecon Beacons. Alison was friendly from the start and made us feel at ease and our dog was made to feel very welcome too. The cottage looks exactly like the photos and was super clean. The views from the hot tub were fantastic. Alison gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and places to visit. Overall a fantastic couple of nights spent at Sugarloaf and if we are ever back this way, we’d opt to stay again. Thank you Alison 😄

Maple Cottage was lovely, in a great location and was well equipped with everything we needed, including the amazing hot tub! The property was spotless, and the generous welcome basket was a nice touch, and much appreciated. Paul was a great host, we were left to it, but he was there when we needed anything.
