We loved our stay at The Hog, what a lovely pub! Such a peaceful location too. We stayed on a Saturday where they had a pop-up food stall in the garden which was delicious, and the pub itself was homely and friendly. Proper local feel. The room was a great size, as was the bathroom. We loved we were able to come and go as we pleased. Room was spotless and you could tell it has recently been done up. Would absolutely stay here again if we're visiting the local area.

Lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Very homely feel and warm environment, polite and friendly staff. The surrounding area was stunning and peaceful, not too far a drive from the city centre. Breakfast was delicious all of the produce was very fresh and the perfect end to our stay

Brilliant stay, pleasantly surprised that the lodge was more spacious than it looked the photos! Location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Communication was excellent throughout, even given freedom to check out late.

If you arr looking for just an overnight stay, no frills, Liang's Mansion is good place. We are 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there's so much space.

I have visited the pub a couple of times before but this is the first time I have stayed at Alma Tavern. I stayed in Room 1 which was clean, warm and quiet. All the bar staff were friendly and gave clear instructions on how to check in (both while the pub was open and closed) and where to leave the key on check out. The communal breakfast area is a nice touch and it was nice to have cold milk and a bottle of cold water. Although the windows overlook a road, I found it quiet and no problem at all. One other guest commented on it being a good idea to look past the initial staircase to the rooms and I agree, I guess it could do with a lick of paint but the room itself and the location of the pub mean I will be looking to book again soon. Just in case it is of interest, parking on Alma Vale Road is free from 5pm to 9am and then you can park for 3 hours using RingGo or just pay at the machine. I arrived at 4, paid for one hour, then just set RingGo to cover the car from 9 to midday.

Just home from a fantastic stay at Heron’s Hideaway. Such a beautiful place with amazing views. It was the perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds for me and my family. The host was super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

This is a wonderful, quirky, Victorian-period small hotel, about ten minutes walk from the centre of Bath. The staff are lovely and they do a first class full English breakfast

Sue’s house is a home away from home. We stayed for two nights and Sue really is a great host, allowing us to cook in her kitchen and even gave us a needlework lesson. We will definitely be back again, and can’t wait to see more of Bristol. Thanks Sue!
