Great place and super helpful host!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and everything you need was close by. We were out most of the day exploring so it was nice to come back and enjoy the hot tub in the evening.

What an amazing place to stay. This was our first family trip with all kids as adults. Everyone loved the house and surroundings We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so much for everything.

This location was fantastic, close enough to downtown to easily drive for anything we needed but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. we didn't even need to drive anywhere to see the Northern Lights, we just stood on the balcony and enjoyed it.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close enough to downtown, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed to feel comfortable. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house, from cozy blankets to the coffee pots. This place made our trip even more memorable.

We felt right at home. in the 7 days we were there we used the kitchen for al but 2 or 3 meals. Good equipment lots of counter space. Very private basement apartment. Great Place.

This was the perfect stay and location for our trip. The home was incredibly clean and everything was there that we needed for our stay. Check-in was flawless and Johann was very responsive and proactive with communication. They gave us easy-to-follow check-in steps and gave us all the information we needed about the home. They made themself very available for any question that would arise during the stay. Comfortable and elegant home with great hosts.

We spent 7 days in Erla's house and we really liked it, a good location, close to supermarket area and a very quiet area, it has 10 minutes from Reykjavík.

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

Great location!! Close and easy to all highways, 20 minutes to city and 20 minutes from KEF airport. Very quiet. The house had plenty of towels and linens and was very clean. This is owner's home, and she rents it out when she is out of town. It had 3 bedrooms and a fourth was a room partitioned off in the back of the large living room. There was also an oversized couch someone could sleep on. Plenty of comfortable and separate sleeping options. Would stay here again. Thanks

What a great week in Reykjavik starting with a wonderful evening at Harpa and the symphony orchestra featuring our host playing the trombone! Such a treat and one we’ll remember for some time. Our stay was perfect! The house looked just like the photos - charming, well appointed and historical. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood setting, away from the more crowded areas of Reykjavik, but still well within walking distance to restaurants, the harbor, Harpa, etc. Daniel had some great restaurant recommendations as well. I would definitely recommend staying here - quiet and cozy in the city!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

A beautiful home near Reykjavik (10 min drive) & conveniently located near highways for easy travel. Extremely clean and comfortable, amenities as described, amazing back porch and hot tub — felt right at home! Guðjón and his family were incredible hosts and made our first trip to Iceland a VERY special one! Shout out to Tommy & Tia, the house cats — we fell in love! Thank you again for everything; we cannot wait to return!

Our group of seven thought Kári's place was perfect for our week in Reykjavik. spacious, well equities kitchen, comfortable beds, great living room, and the hot tub and BBQ were frequently used.

I have stayed in plenty of vacation rentals and airbnb, Sigurdur's place is the best I have seen. He really has everything you need for family. We were 6 of us in our family and all adults and this was a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed entire weeek and I would recommend this place without reservation for anyone traveling . It is not cheap but for 4-6 people, it is reasonable. You can technically walk to downtown, run around the coast. As a host, Siggi was an absolute delight. We could not get a rental car our first day and he gave us his car to use so we would not waste our day. He was responsive to anything we needed immediately. He really was amazing host, by far the best host we have ever had. Thank you Siggi for making our stay in Iceland enjoyable

We had to switch places last minute and Unnur accommodated us quickly. We had the fortune of meeting her at check-in, she made us feel right at home. Our stay felt like home away from home. Thank you Unnur!

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Rakel’s home is like staying at a family member’s home while they are away! So warm and welcoming, and such a great environment for kids. So many cool toys for a kid to play with and very sweet guest rooms safe and comfortable for adults traveling with kids. Her home his warm, modern, clean, efficient and so close to Iceland’s many day trip attractions, and extremely close to Reykjavik! The neighborhood is quiet, and ideal. You can walk to the grocery store, a fast food restaurant and a great pizza parlor called Flaties! Worth the price. The space is magnificent. Washer dryer great, TV channels and streaming provided, and of course the hot tub! I would stay there again, and hope to visit their beautiful Iceland for a longer period soon! Rakel was gracious to let us use their city stroller too, which was immensely helpful! Loved our stay at their lovely home!-Jennifer
