Khusrav and his brother Jasur and mother were all extremely welcoming. I enjoyed meeting them and had a nice restful stay. They shared some food after I returned in the evening and we chatted, which is rare these days with air bnb, I appreciated getting to know them more. The place is simple and clean, the bed was comfortable. Thank you guys !

Very good welcome and Inga came with many good recommendations on sights in the area and also to the rest of my trip north. Great communication, easy to check in and out! Would stay there if I visit island again.

The place was clean and spotless. Very simplistic however everything you need is included. It is in quite a nice apartment building with a mountain and ocean view from the balcony.

Olof is a gem and this is the second time I returned. She is a lovely and gracious host and she made me very comfortable. We had wonderful conversations and I’d highly recommend this place!

Daniel and Bryan are really friendly and communicative. During our stay we met Bryan. He even texted us during night time when the northern lights were visible with a recommended view point. The apartment makes you feel at home. We could use the kitchen and living room. The kitchen has everything you need and so many spices and also a rice cooker plus free coffee and snacks for everyone :) Perfect location to explore Reykjavik and outside the city. The city Center is just a few minutes away, Thingvellir about 50 minutes.

The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. location is great, public transportation close by, grocery store is 2 minutes walking distance. I really enjoyed my time during the stay! Although not lucky enough to see the aurora, my week was cloudy and rainy.

Great place to stay for a few nights in the city! The location was ideal--quiet, yet super close to restaurants and nightlife. There was always parking available right outside the door. The apartment itself was spacious and gave the two of us room to spread out a bit. There is a nice covered patio out back but just a note--you can't see the sky from it or anywhere in the apt. So if you want to have a quick peek to see if the aurora is visible you have to leave the building. :)

Simon's house is so unique, definitely one of my favourite Airbnb city pads I've stayed in! The decor is wonderfully eclectic, mashing 60s rock and interior design with traditional Icelandic touches, taxidermised birds, and Simon's own artwork. The space is a great size and good for chilling in, with decent kitchen amenities. Simon himself is a great host, very friendly, laid back and full of good tips. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to meet his dog too!

We loved how close it was to the rainbow road, everything was super walkable. The apartment was spacious and was perfect for our family of 4! Vala had everything set up for us for our girls when we arrived! The only thing I always wish for any city place when we stay is free close parking. We did get lucky and found a spot at night right out front but during the day where we had to park was a bit of a hike from the free parking! There was some super loud noises at 8am on Monday morning but we were able to go back to sleep. Vala also provided quick responses and help tips for parking and other local things! Overall a very good stay!

We have stayed at Anna Maria's house with our 1 year old baby and we are very happy and grateful. I even had some toys ready! The house is very nice, the bed very comfortable and you have everything to make yourself at home. Anna Maria is a great host. Fantastic communication, very sweet and kind to us and our baby, patient and all their fantastic directions and suggestions. And it makes some delicious cookies. Definitely a place to stay and host of 10.
