Apartment vacation rentals in Reykjavík

Erlas' place is located right in the center of Reykjavik. It is clean and has everything you need. It's only a one-minute walk to Rainbow Street and all the nearby stores, making it extremely convenient. The place is beautiful as well. If you plan to go on tours, bus stop #6 by the Culture House is the closest option. I would definitely recommend it! 🙏🏽

Anna was very nice and we were able to check in early. The place was perfect for my husband and I, it was close to shops and not far from downtown. It was very nice and cozy and had everything we needed!

Great value for the price and a very convenient location. Perfect for solo travelers, and also a comfortable option for couples.

The apartment was very nice, with everything you need. The center of Reykjavik can be reached in a few minutes by car or by bus. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. You can see the mountains around Reykjavik directly from the apartment and we also enjoyed the northern lights from the terrace one evening. We felt very comfortable and Eggert was always helpful and very friendly. Upon our arrival, we found fresh toast, cheese and drinks from Eggert in the fridge, which was very nice. So the accommodation is highly recommended, and we will be happy to come back.

We loved staying in Anna's apartment! She is an amazing and kind hostess. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Includes all the amenities you could need and the location, although not in the center, it's really accessible (if you rent a car) and the neighborhood is nice. The building has an elevator which was a plus. Would stay there again.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It looked just like the pictures and we felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed and more. It is in a very modern building. The location is good for exploring Reykjavik and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend staying there, as we would definitely book again.

Perfect apartment to spend one or two nights in Reykjavik. There were three of us, but it would be better for two. A double bed and a sofa bed as big as the bed if you open it. We were comfortable and the kitchen was fine.

Kristin and her husband were delightful. The apartment was perfect for the four of us. No television, which was great to be away from the media! I would definitely stay with them again.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

I'll have to say that at first I was not happy - the Airbnb that we reserved had not been cleaned from the previous stay. HOWEVER, the situation was rectified when I reached out to Hildurg. Hildurg responded immediately and accommodated us into a new apartment for our stay within the same building. The rest of the stay was pleasant and I would say that having a responsive and helpful host is extremely valuable on Airbnb. I would reserve again with Hildurg given how helpful everything was and how close the apartment is to the center of Reykjavik! There is free parking available around the area too.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

The location was ideal for easy access into Reykjavik and all destinations in the South West of Iceland. Great space for my wife & I & our 2 teenagers. Good value & we would recommend for families. The building was quiet & the hot tub and pizza oven & bbq on the patio were awesome to have too. Gissur was a great host & his instruction manual was comprehensive.

Very well equipped for a comfortable stay in a central down town location. Handy for everything with lots of cafes, bars & restaurants within close proximity. Spacious & stylish apartment to hang out in when we didn’t feel like going out. Netflix on the TV was a lovely touch.

Maria was a great host. She was very accommodating and despite a hiccup at checkin, she went above and beyond to make things right. The bathroom and kitchen were gorgeous! Great location.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kjartan’s listing! He has been extremely responsive and helpful. He gave great advice for me during my stay and great things to do around the area. Parking was always available, home was easy to find and as described. Book here, it’s worth every penny.

Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

A perfect space for a couple, in a location that’s great for both going into Reykjavík and driving around the golden circle/south coast. The apartment looks even better in real life, and was left clean and with everything we could have needed, we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much- would recommend to anyone :)

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space was roomy but cozy, in a great location, and exactly what we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super helpful throughout our stay. Great views and is a short walk to main attractions. Highly recommend

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the great location, beautiful room and hospitality from the front desk staff. It was really helpful to be able to drop off our luggage early in the morning upon arrival to maximize our time in Iceland with an all day tour!
