Photographers House Staithes

JuliaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved our time in the Photographer’s house. It was so pretty, warm and cosy inside with beautiful outlooks from its many windows. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided to make our stay super comfortable and fun. The village and surroundings are gorgeous. The local pub just a few minutes walk has a great atmosphere and serves delicious fresh seafood. We hope to come back next year.

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a wonderful time at Cate’s house in Marske. The house is spacious with a great kitchen and lovely rooms. We had a great time. Excellently situated near the beach and a short trip from Saltburn and Guisborough. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

Sunnyside Cottage, North Yorks.

KarlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here for a 2 night New Year break, we were 2 couples. Everything about this cottage is outstanding; everything you would wish for with regards to cleanliness and comfort is exceptional. Everything is finished to a high standard. Having 2 bathrooms is a bonus. The log burner/stove is a great feature, and the hosts kindly lit it before we arrived, which made it very cosy. The hosts were very responsive, and answered any questions very quickly. Would highly recommend this property.

Great cottage right in the centre of Staithes. Seaside Haven for all the family

IanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed the stay with the family. Vicky replied promptly at all times. Shame we couldn't utilise the great outdoor space more, due to December weather. But overall we all had a lovely time at Vicky's place for our winter break.

Host & Stay | Retreat By The Sea

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Charlie was really proactive and very helpful, providing clear instructions and information. The apartment is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. Clean & comfortable. There are a few minor wear & tear things that need addressing like the chip in the bath and floors but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay. A slightly later check out would be great, especially on a Sunday but again this didn’t effect our stay as we already had plans to leave early. We really enjoyed our stay and will no doubt return. Thanks for having us 😊

We just have come back from a lovely stay. We stayed for two nights, it was very good for families, we’ve got two young children and the apartment was quite also easy to get to the beach and high street from. Thanks so much!

Sandalwood Apartment

RobertRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stayed here with my work colleague for a few days whilst working in Redcar. It was a great apartment felt like we were coming to a home every night instead of a hotel. Not sure if there was Wi-Fi at the property as I couldn’t find a router or a code (probably my fault for doing a “man” look!)but signal is great here so managed to use my own phone data :) Will be re biking In The new year for our next phase of the job!
A spacious living room features a leather sofa and matching armchair, offering comfortable seating. A wooden coffee table is positioned at the center. Smooth grey carpet covers the floor, and light walls are adorned with framed images. A doorway leads to an adjoining room.

Host & Stay | Cattersty Hideaway

RobRating, 5 stars10 months ago
PROS : Fabulous apartment. Modern, with high ceilings and a bit of olde charm. The apartment was very spacious. With distant sea views . Felt like a home from home. The cleaners are a credit to the company, as it was pristine. Top floor flat, with quiet flat below. Excellent location few mins walk to the small village centre. CONS : Try and overlook the shabby hallway, as the apartment iitself is excellent. The apartment is on the main road into Saltburn. In the bedroom you can hear the road noise, which affected our sleep. They hold your ÂŁ250 damage deposit for 2 weeks. Which coincidentally is the amount of time Airbnb give you to leave a review. This has left a bad taste In my mouth, as you would obviously be hesitant to leave a bad review. Knowing they have your ÂŁ250 damage deposit. They will presumably say, pay the very expensive ÂŁ25 damage waiver insurance. ( I pay ÂŁ50 per year for car hire waiver. ) They could offer an annual policy, ,to encourage repeat business.

Sunday School - cosy & spacious in iconic building

SharonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
It was a privalidge to stay in such wonderful accomodation. Clean, your every need catered for, comfy bed, bright, airy, stunning art work, comfy sofa, and log burner. Me, my husband, and two dogs very much enjoyed our stay. The weather did not put us off, lovely friendly locals too. We came out of season,so not all the shops were open, but we were able to enjoy the gallery, the museum, the cobbles cafe, and both pubs!! Wish we had made it into Dotties. The hill and parking is a bit of a challenge, but totally understand that parking in such a small area, would be a nightmare, and would spoil Staithes. Thanks for a wonderful break. Sharon and Dave, and the doggies.😊
A modern living space features a large sofa and an armchair, both placed on a plush area rug. A stylish coffee table sits centrally, complemented by a floor lamp and decorative mirror. Contemporary cabinetry is visible in the open kitchen, enhancing the spacious feel.

Host & Stay | Salty Bay

BlakeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We came for a 4-day get away an wanted to be near the seaside. Charlie's apartment right above the beach was absolutely perfect. The living space (one room kitchen, living and ding) was perfect size for the two of us and our 2 dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts in the morning and there were enough amazing restaurants and pubs nearby for a noon time pint and/or an evening meal. The Ship Inn was a perfect stop for a pint and the Seaview restaurant has amazing local seafood that did not disappoint. The apartment bedroom had plenty of storage and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom/shower was also very nice but the absolute best part of staying here was the view and closeness to the beach. We spent a large amount of our 4 days on the beach with the dogs. We walked along the beach as far as Marske and while the tide was out, over to Hunt Cliff exploring rock pools and searching for fossils. A 10 out of 10 for the location, the apartment and the host!
