Karl's place was spotlessly clean. There were enough of all kitchen crockery, cutlery etc. Everything worked well. It was very warm and comfortable (although I personally found hte matress soft as I am used to a very firm matress). It was great to have secure off-road parking. Local shops and Ormesby Hall within easy walking distance and parkland nearby for country walks.

Stayed for 2 nights with 10 friends and we all fit really well. There is a great social space on the 1st floor, the local pub, chippy and pizza place were amazing and the walks along the cliffs were easily accessible. The hosts were really responsive and flexible, and made us at home with a really cool welcome basket + essentials like milk, bread, etc. Would definitely stay again, Staithes village was so beautiful and the Photographers house was a perfect base.

The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, the best kitchen we’ve ever seen away from home! The downstairs bedroom was very comfy, as was the spacious sitting room. The downstairs wet room was very handy for a wheelchair user. The house is in a very quiet residential area, just minutes from the beach, although, sadly, there wasn’t a way through the little wooded copse for a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Merske is a lovely little town, with Saltburn just a few miles away, and for the able bodied, easily walkable along the beach. A very nice stay in a lovely house!

We had a wonderful time at Sunnyside Cottage. It was so much more spacious than we'd anticipated and every need had been catered for. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sofas were comfy, too. The kitchen was well equipped and incredibly clean and tidy. The house is in a very tranquil spot overlooking a park.

Really well equipped and genuinely comfy home from home feel. House has really good access to beach, shops, great woodland/garden walks and if needed train station( didn’t hear the trains once ). When we head back up this way again we will definitely check to see if property is available and have no hesitation booking again.

Great cottage, location is perfect with such amazing views ! It was such a treat to take a mug of tes and sit on the bench to enjoy the view of boasts, sea and cliffs. We had a fabulous time.

Host very nice property good size spacious as I’m 6ft 4. Most things on site to make it easily usable. To say on a road fairly quiet. Nice to park outside the front door. Comfy and liveable ideal holiday stay. No problems as such as it’s a location where you can take the dog for a holiday. Overall positive.

Our couple of night’s in Saltburn were made by Mark’s flat. Peaceful, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything you needed and more. And to top it all there was the view.! When we weren’t out about enjoying the beach and the town we were just happy watching the sea and the boats. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to say to visit lots of coast on the North Yorkshire coast line. Shirley is a fantastic host and sunshine apartment is amazing. We had our 6 year old and 2 pooches and the astro trust veranda your as a god send and all In closed. The master bed was so Comfy and the shower, wow! Just what you need after a days out walking and on the beach. You have a real gem here shirley! We will be back. Thank you xx

Perfect location!! Loved exploring the local area! Loved watching the waves from the lounge-whilst having breakfast! Bed super comfy! Very clean and tidy!!! Thank you! Would definitely book again if heading for saltburn 🙂

wow, this is the second time I have visited this place.i really admire Peter's place and the view from the bedroom. the place is spotless, location is great. you can literally watch sunrise and the sea from the bed. Peter was very informative and responsive. anyway, everything is perfect, will surely visit again.

Great location near the seafront, easy check in and nice to have own gated car park, can get full but nearby car parks make it ok and were cheap, excellent to have tea, coffee and milk in room which was a nice touch, as I didnt expect it, very modern, good shower and bathroom, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, host was amazing always responsive and always happy to help with any questions, we would stay again

Was a lovely getaway for a few days. Ann communicted quickly and provided all the information needed to check in. It was nice to go into a warm room and for there to be milk and coffee ready. Would definitely recommend a stay here 😊

Very quiet and friendly street . Close to town and walking distance from beach . Susan provided milk some coffee and tea fir arrival and lived close by . Beds where comfy and everything was clean would recomend this apartment to others.

Great stay, this was perfect for me and my partner. Appliances were easy to operate and plenty of amenities so we didn't have to overspend on little things. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to book again

Totally deserves the 5 star rating, the apartment is spotless, the views are fantastic and everything we needed was within walking distance. The kids were over the moon with the welcome sweets & chocolate. We’re already planning our next visit 🤗 We’d had a stressful few days and a rough overnight crossing but we were delighted and relieved Donna let us check in a couple of hours earlier than planned

Lovely, spacious and clean apartment in a great central location for Saltburn on Sea. Plenty of free parking nearby and everything including the beach within walking distance (if you dont mind a hill or two on the way back). Set up for a self catering stay or great coffee shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Would definitely book again.

Great stay for families, felt cosy and relaxed with lovely welcome cake and milk for a cuppa after a long journey. Fab for exploring coast and has good local amenities (right next to a bakery and above a lovely gift and coffee shop). Very clean and tidy & we appreciated the well stocked book shelf and board game selection. We would stay again when in the area!

I’ve stayed at Lee’s place a few times now. Great flat, clean, tidy, comfortable, private parking space - couldn’t ask for more.

Great accommodation, exactly as described by the host. Perfect location in the centre of Saltburn with plenty of free parking on the road. The host sent clear instructions about check in and followed up to make sure everything was ok. I really appreciated complimentary pastry that was waiting for me when I entered the apartment! Would highly recommend.
