Cottage vacation rentals in Queenstown

We stayed 2 nights at this place. The cottages was wonderful. The place was quiet and convenient. Kirsty and Justin made the house just feel like home, which made us relaxed and enjoyed it a lot. The facilities and amenities in the house were abundant and easy to use, especially the hot tub! The host was friendly, responding fast to my questions. We really had a great experience here.

We loved Louise’s place and had a wonderful time there in her beautiful garden as well. Lovely meeting her and her friendly dogs also! The cottage is charming with all the amenities you’d need - we were welcomed with freshly picked raspberries that were delightful. Located next to all the best coffee shops and restaurants in Clyde, we would love to come back and stay for longer next time.

Exceptionally beautiful stay. Stunning cottage and location, with very thoughtful and generous hosts. We loved the local art that was showcased too - a vibrant and unique collection.

There is not enough praise I can give to Rob and this beautiful stay. Rob was extremely friendly, responsive, and accommodating to all requests made. We instantly felt at home as soon as we stepped into the cottage and loved every moment here. Rob was quite helpful with allowing for an earlier check in time, and later check out and ensured the place was perfectly clean and comfortable upon arrival. The place is well kept - and very peaceful to return to after a day out. The fireplace, and hot tub are perfect touches! Would give 6 stars if I could. Thank you for making this a perfect stay.

Nice cottage, however seemed to be next to a number of cottages which were being used for a contracting business with workers trucks and sheds around.

Great Villa in a wondeful location. Very good value for money

A short 5 min drive from Queenstown, this was the perfect relaxing space to go home to after a busy day exploring. The views are stunning and it’s in such a peaceful neighbourhood, the spa was amazing!!

We spent a lovely weekend in this delightful cottage. The barbeque and spa pool got plenty of action along with the outdoor seating area. Jacqueline and Ash are great hosts and our roast lamb was made even more delicious by the rosemary fresh from the garden. Easy access to Wanaka township and surrounding attractions. Highly recommend and we'd definitely stay again.

Jason and Scott are truly Great hosts. Their cottage is amazingly lovely, clean, with a wonderful view and complete amenities. All we need are readily and conveniently available. Instructions are clear, and the place is indeed very guest-friendly. We had a homey and very special experience. The SPA is also a great deal and the view is breathtaking. We will be back, and hopefully longer stay. Thanks to them for sharing their place; we, as a family, just made another priceless memory.

We loved our stay a fave spot. James was super responsive to any query. We loved the location for morning walks and proximity to all the things we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again. A wood burner would be the cherry on top. 🤩🥰

Lovely little place to stay. Very close to Aryburn where we attended a wedding. Would recommend this place! Car essential.

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

This was the last AirBNB of our 2month stay in NZ South Island and we clearly saved the best till last. An amazing renovation of an historic cottage, it manageS to combine the very best of modern interior decoration with an easy comfort that made it feel just like home. Sarah is the most generous host providing all the ripe fruit from the wonderful garden and a fully equipped and stocked kitchen. It’s less than a 5 minute walk into the center of Arrowtown, take the walk there to get fresh croissants for breakfast. I could go on and on but suffice to say, you will never find a better AirBNB.

Very cozy house with a lot of family atmosphere

Amazing location. LOVED the river walk, on our doorstep almost. Very comfortable. Really close to the centre of Arrowtown on foot for browsing and socialising but really quiet. Clean. Lovely bathrooms. Great beds. Great communication with Jackie. Thank you. Lynda and Liz

We were blown away upon entering the property and seeing the home. Perfect setting and beautiful view from the back of the property. Things got even better upon entering this home with an incredible interior founded on the rock face of the building. We felt like we were transported 100 years back in time while having modern conveniences.

Thank you Colin! What a great place to stay after seven days biking. Easy to find and let ourselves in. It was spacious and clean, It was easy to sort out our gear, lovely to cook a home made meal, and the beds comfy. With the decor from the 80's, it was like stepping back into a holiday home we used to visit in Tasmania. Thank you for having the space clean and ready for us and for your communication before and after our stay. Wishing you all the best of family holidays which is what it felt like staying there.

You’d struggle to find a better view of Arrowtown and the valley heading to Qtown. Would love to have been able to stay longer and enjoy the accommodation more. Jeremy was easy to reach, super friendly and very accommodating - we had an additional guest join us last minute and Jeremy happily brought down sheets for their bed late on a Friday evening. Highly recommend

This is a wonderful home to stay - very much a home away from home. The location is brilliant easy to get to Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka and all Central Otago locations. Highly recommend Lisa's place.

Beautiful little cottage with quality furniture and furnishings. A beautiful view for a few days retreat

Lovely place with an incredible view! So spacious and everything was clean and as described. Felt like home away from home. Very close to nearby cycling track. Could easily cycle into town in 5 minutes.

We came here for part of our honeymoon. We were blown away! The best location we’ve ever stayed at. It gets easily 5/5 stars, I wish I could rate it higher. Very easy check in and out and great communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit!!

Had a great stay at Bee's place. If you want to stay away from town and feel like you(and Family) want to have the whole surroundings to yourself this is a great place. Also, it's not too far away from Wanaka. I will definitely consider booking again
