Take it easy at this unique country cabin. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Soak in the outside bath. Close to Lake Hāwea hiking and biking trails. Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

An outdoor terrace features a wooden privacy fence and includes a round table with two foldable chairs. A large umbrella provides shade over the table, while the expansive view of the mountains and open fields creates a serene environment.

Glen Dene Cresent is a quiet cul-de-sac, park across road. Off street parking, internal access garage. Great Cafe and comprehencive grocery store 100m walk away. - 200m to basket ball & other courts & Skatebooarding.

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄

The modern two-story house features a combination of wood and metal cladding, complemented by large windows. The front yard is landscaped with tall grass and greenery, creating a welcoming entrance. A driveway leads to a garage, providing convenient access.

Incredible lake and mountain views from both indoor and two outdoor living areas. Recently renovated the house is comprised of three double en-suite bedrooms, large open plan kitchen with all new appliances and a butlers pantry, a large living/dining area upstairs and a separate adult media room. Downstairs you’ll find a large bunk room with a separate bathroom and additional separate toilet along with a kid’s media room.
