Te Anau places to stay

We had an amazing stay. The unit is compact but very organised and has everything you need. It is very comfortable and beautifully styled. It looks just like the pictures. The hosts are very friendly and helpful but give you your space unless you request assistance. Excellent location, close to the lake and the centre of town. The veranda was lovely to sit outside and enjoy tea in the morning or a wine in the evening.

We had a lovely stay. Nice comfy bed, good modern kitchen/bathroom and handy location. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend 👍

Anna is an exceptional host. The cottage feels like home with a lovely decor. The location is a very short walk to the lake. We had a wonderful holiday and I would love to visit again.

Our family stayed here on the day of our trip to Milford Sound. When we asked if we could leave our luggages at the house slightly earlier than usual check in time so that we can travel the 2hours to Milford Sound without the luggage, Josh and Kelly said the house should be ready by then for an early check in instead :) Very kind and friendly. The house was as described and the street is very peaceful. The lake is at walking distance and is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend people travelling to Milford Sound to stay overnight:)

We stayed at Rachel’s place after being on the Kepler track for 3 days and it felt so luxurious when we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout, in addition to the space being spotlessly clean. Their yard was lovely to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner, and we really enjoyed saying hi to their pup Frankie as we were really missing our little dog back home!

Such a beautiful, peaceful place! Chrys and Frank were fabulous hosts and there were loads of incredibly generous touches that made our stay perfect- particularly the fresh laid eggs! We especially loved stargazing from the hot tub on the patio. Little piece of rural heaven and only 5 minutes away from Te Anau.

1000/10 experience! Incredible stay at Jodie’s! Our only regret is not staying longer. The space is absolutely gorgeous and the backdrop was stunning. We loved the outdoor spa and coupled with the star gazing, it was just magical. We experienced a power outage during our stay but we still loved our experience and hope to return one day!

So comfortable with stacks of room. Beautiful area and plenty to see and do. Thancs

This is a fantastic place! Extremely easy from check-in to check-out. Love the ease of walking right into town.
