Te Anau places to stay

Melody and Jacob’s place is in quiet street only 2 minutes drive from the centre of Te Anau. It is immaculately presented and contains modern appliances and tasteful artistic decorations. Highly recommended.

Very well located and well equipped accommodation ideally suited to exploring Te Anau. Lots of trips available to book. We went to Milford Sound with Real NZ. Brilliant. also recommend visiting the Te Anau Bird Sanctuary. Tickets for a guided tour from DOC

Anna's place was lovely. A lovely older style house over three levels. It was so clean and nicely furnished too. Very central in town and also quiet. Great extra bed linen options too, which so many properties don't offer. Highly recommend staying at Anna's 😊

Lovely modern and extremely well appointed home in new modern subdivision of Te Anau. One can walk into town in about 20 minutes. Walkable to lake, and fantastic for morning or evening jogs around the lake (there are excellent bike and running paths). Kitchen is well equipped, everything has been considered. So nice to arrive at a property to find it spotless and little extras added in the kitchen. Its so peaceful here and the beds are of very good quality. Easy parking off the street. Bathrooms are well appointed and are of good size. Would comfortably accommodate 4-6 people as living areas are huge. We had a wonderful stay here and so easy to drive on to Milford Sound from the house. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Rachel’s place was a perfect stay for our visit to Te Anau. The location is superb, and the suite was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Would not hesitate to stay again on a future visit. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Wetlands Rise. It exceeded my expectations! Set in a beautiful, peaceful rural setting, the suite is modern, comfortable and fully equipped. The hosts thoughtfully provide various options for breakfast, including fresh free range eggs. Frank and Chrys are outstanding hosts. Their dog Jaz is lovely and very friendly. I enjoyed relaxing in the Spa pool in the evenings, while watching the beautiful sunsets! I highly recommend this suite.

Amazing location and very nice home. Excellent communication. Thoughtfully decorated. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms, but some minor stains on the furniture / bedding. AC is in the living room, rooms get a bit warm during the day and can’t open windows due to bugs. Fans are provided. Not a big issue. If I could spend all night in the spa / Hot tub watching the stars I would. ;-)

A fabulous place to stay with family memories discovered and cherished, I would love to stay here longer as it is a beautiful location and a wonderful house. Thanks again!

Ideal location. In walking distance to everything. Raised living room was open, lots of light and comfortable! We loved all the sliders. Very easy to get a nice breeze throughout. Beds were comfortable. Water temperature and pressure were very nice. Plenty of room to park (we had 2 big SUVs). Would highly recommend.
