Treehouse vacation rentals in Puntarenas Province

Our stay at Saskia was the first on our Costa Rica trip and helped us arrive in the country wonderfully. It's perfect for nature lovers. The treehouse offers a unique experience where you can listen to the sounds of the jungle – monkeys, birds and in the morning a Saskias chickens or the sun shining directly into the treehouse. It gets bright very early. The kitchen is well equipped, with a stove, lots of kitchen utensils and refrigerators, so we could easily supply ourselves. Our tip: A car or other vehicle is highly recommended to reach the property and visit places. From here you can visit many great beaches, such as Playa Pelada, from which you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Next to the treehouse there are other accommodations that Saskia also rents out. That wasn't disturbing at all, on the contrary. We would definitely love to come back!

We had a great stay here! The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a great place to relax for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee.

Beautiful bungalow with a great view! Living space is small, but beds were comfortable and kitchen was well-equipped. We had a very responsive and helpful host who helped us with laundry and ordering food in the area. We loved Playa Ventanas and Playa Linda - also great suggestions from our host! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Jaco. The property is beautiful and surrounded by nature, providing a peaceful and serene environment. We slept really well each night. The kitchen is outdoors, which we found charming, though we didn't use it much. The beautiful beaches are just a short drive away, making this location perfect for beach lovers. Getting to the Airbnb is a bit of an adventure. We managed with a 2x4 vehicle, but some driving experience is required, especially during rainy weather when the road conditions might not be ideal. Check-in was easy and straightforward. Overall, this is a solid and beautiful Airbnb that we highly recommend.

Beautiful tree house cabin. Stunning view and comfortable beds. Loved spending time and eating dinner on the deck. Also tons of amazing wildlife, there were 2 toucans that visited us everyday. Definitely would recommend this place! :)

The jungle house was fantastic. Our girls loved the pool and the hiking trail was a great place to experience the wildlife on a daily basis. The location is great for activities in both Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Would definitely stay there again.

Wow, what an experience it is to be able to stay in an actual treehouse. We saw howler monkeys at eye level in the tree in front of us, and macaw’s flying above. Such a peaceful environment with gorgeous views over trees to the mountains. The sound of the rain through the bamboo at night was so gorgeous and showering in the open air hot shower was so cool!!! Despite there being lots of bugs/insects as to be expected in the jungle the place was spotlessly clean. It has been a highlight of our trip through Costa Rica so far and such an amazing experience for our family of 4. If you love the outdoors and wildlife this is the place for you.

Fabulous stay. Accommodation was amazing. The pool area is lovely. The breakfast and dinner were good. Ellie the Chef, catered for our dietary requirements which made our stay hassle free and very relaxing. The resident pets were a bonus and enjoyed cuddles with them.

This little cabin felt like a hug the minute we walked through the door. It is simple and uncomplicated. Warm and welcoming. It had everything we needed for 5 days making our own meals. The view is stunning - a crescent view of the ocean beyond rolling layers of jungle. It is like a wildlife park in itself from the comfort of your porch. Photographs do not do it justice. We spent most of our time each day on the porch. The evening rains moving in across the water and up through the trees to us served as TV. We loved the front patio for working out and cool plunges in the pool. It was all just right for our family of 4. Highly recommend for the experience. Dominical is an easy drive down the mountain.

My husband and I had a wondeful stay at this location! Andrés was incredibly responsive, and provided us with resources and suggestions that made our stay in Monteverde that much better! Additionally, the location of this Airbnb was truly spectacular. We felt like we had our own private section of the rainforest, with panoramic views of Monteverde! The views at sunset were truly breathtaking, and we enjoyed them while in the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking and adventure. Thank you, Andrés for a wondeful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Vero and Mau’s beautiful property. The place was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. Vero and Mau were wonderful hosts—responsive, friendly, and attentive to every detail. An excellent place to hear monkeys congos and haystacks, sleeping lulled by the sound of the Caribbean Sea

The view was spectacular. It had really hot water, which seems to be rare at many airbnbs in Costa Rica. The hot tub was hot as well, not tepid. 10/10. It was easy to find, and the host communicated very well. I would definitely come back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The thought, detail and hard work that went into the beautiful layout and design of the treehouse is unreal. It’s perfect, and just like the photos. We found a great restaurant/disco about a 5-10 drive away which was great, and in the morning we woke up to the monkey sounds. Only walked to the end of the driveway where there was about 10-15 monkeys in the trees to the right. An unbelievable stay and experience at Pura Selva’s treehouse!!!

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

The most unique Airbnb's that we have ever stayed in. Great architecture nestled amongst the trees. The inside / outside living style was perfect for us. Pool was clean and refreshing. We saw lots of monkeys and birds whilst sitting on terrace and in the pool. Everything we needed was provided and the home looks exactly like the photos on the listing. Internet was surprisingly quick and having a projector in bedroom and a speaker in kitchen was appreciated. Great check in directions, not that we needed them, as the guy who lives on site helped us get in (and carried our luggage up the stairs). You'll defiantly want a higher ground clearance vehicle to get to the property, we used Gladys's recommended contact from Europcar and it worked out cheaper that using National who I originally had booked. I definitely recommend, and hopefully can visit again one day!

Staying at this cottage is an extraordinary experience that we recommend to all nature lovers. We spent two amazing nights there in contact with the jungle. The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable with lots of charm. Our hosts were very attentive to us. Note that 4x4 and rigorous hiking boots in the rainy season to access this paradise!

We absolutely loved staying in the jungle house. It was incredibly quiet and serene. The highlight was watching a family of monkeys skitter through the trees while drinking coffee on the deck. We had friends staying in a different location in Nosara, and every time we visited them, I couldn’t wait to get back to our peaceful treehouse. An odd yet incredible plus for me was how the treehouse smelled. I couldn’t identify it, but it smelled like a combination fresh wood, coffee, and nutmeg. Simply amazing.

We had a beautiful stay in playa Cocles. The house and surroundings were beautiful. The comunication was also great with Milena and Jairo. Can definitely recommend!
