Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Puntarenas Province

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este Airbnb en Alajuela, Costa Rica. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy bien recibidos. El lugar es cómodo, limpio y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca del aeropuerto pero en una zona tranquila, ideal para descansar. Además, el anfitrión fue increíblemente amable y atento, siempre disponible para ayudarnos con cualquier duda o recomendación. Sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí y lo recomendamos totalmente a otros viajeros.

This house was one we will be talking about a decade from now. Stunning surroundings, gorgeous indoor/outdoor living, exotic wildlife, and a place you can breathe to reset. We saw capuchin monkeys making their way through the trees toward the beach, brilliant red macaws, toucans, a huge iguana with our binoculars, we heard howler monkeys every morning and finally saw them in the trees, and lots of friendly geckos in the house and patio area. We enjoyed watching them catch bugs at night while we played cards on the porch and enjoyed the pool. The drive downtown took about 10 to 15 minutes and Mariana was exceptionally helpful with booking a catamaran adventure and giving us local tips like places to park for the beach, waterfalls to visit (or avoid), coffee/chocolate tours from downtown Quepos, etc. She was so helpful and friendly. She also offered to stock our fridge after we provided a grocery list for a very nominal fee, which saved us time shopping and allowed us to enjoy more! 💕

I love the quiet location and great view! We were returning for a 3rd visit to this house and it’s always great! Walkable food, drinks, coffee and beach. Great hosts, always super responsive and kind. They’re helpful with things around the house and know everything about the area if you need anything. The beach is paradise! The house is a perfect place for you to feel like you’re miles away from anything, when really it’s just a quick walk

If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay nestled in the lush heart of the Costa Rican jungle, look no further than this hidden gem just outside of Puerto Viejo near Playa Chiquita. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the vibrant sounds of nature—howler monkeys in the distance, birds in every color imaginable, and the occasional curious creature making a cameo on the property. It felt like we were living inside a nature documentary—in the best way possible. The house itself was absolutely charming. We loved its unique design and the character it carried throughout. One of our favorite features was the artwork—beautiful pieces created by local artists that adorned the walls. We loved our time at Casa Thai! The view and house are exactly as pictured. The pool was especially great for us with a baby and toddler since it was a whole very shallow section (also good for lounging and reading IN the pool). While we didn’t see other wildlife, there were so many amazing bird sighting and sounds. The indoor/outdoor shower experience was my favourite part of the place - stunning views and felt so luxurious. AC in the bedrooms worked great. Okay, yes, the driveway is very steep. But they had just maintained the road and it was totally fine. Once you do it once and get over the thrill of it, it was more fun than anything else. The 4X4 does all the work and doesn’t need an especially skilled driver. Not a reason not to book at all! The host is so responsive and helpful. As good as you can hope for in an Airbnb experience. My friends and I (group of 8 ladies) stayed here for one night at the end of our girls trip vacation in Costa Rica. Lily’s house is absolutely gorgeous. We all had plenty of room and enjoyed our last day in CR. It is close enough to walk to a Fresh Market. The grounds keeper, Nery, was available for any of our questions and very helpful and friendly. It was very close to the airport. Loved our time there and we all wished we could have spent another day or two there to enjoy the beautiful house.

WE LOVED THE QUINTA!!! We were 12 seniors and had an amazing time at this beautiful and comfortable property. Francisco was always very responsive and proactive and showed us the place in detail. Ana, the administrator, was so sweet and attentive to our needs and also cooked delicious meals for us. Douglas took care of the beautiful gardens and the pool. We enjoyed relaxing massages. The town is close by and has a good super market and restaurants. We had a lot of fun during our stay and loved the place. THANK YOU all of you for your wonderful hospitality!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft, besonders mit dem Außenbereich, dem liebevoll angelegten Garten und wunderschönem Bach (der später beim Regen zu einem Fluss anstieg). Wir konnten sehr viele Tiere beobachten und insbesondere die Brüllaffen aus einiger Entfernung hören. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Zeit als Familie sehr genossen!!! DANKE.

This place is absolutely incredible. Clean, comfortable, and a great gathering space for family. We LOVED the pool and outdoor area, made dinners and slept well in the cozy beds. The walkway to the beach is extremely convenient but sooo magical!!!! I loved the black sand beach and enjoyed laying in the sun with just a short two minute walk back to the house. Muchísimas gracias!!

Three of us stayed at Wanderlust to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Highlights of the accommodations were the incredibly comfortable beds, the peaceful atmosphere and the fantastic hot tub. What really makes this place stand out is Jai. Jai could not have done more to make our stay a magical occasion. She provided us with impeccable food and drink recommendations, connected us with local, trustworthy transportation and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Jai really is a special treat. We all hope to be back someday.

We stayed at Whit’s place for one week as two families with young children. The size of the home was very spacious for our group of 10 and the location of the home feels very private. The views from the hot tub, pool, master bedroom, and dining space are all absolutely phenomenal! Which the owner, Simone the concierge, Vlad the chef are all true gems. Simone helped us plan our entire trip by offering recommendations that look for activities and was always immediately responsive, including when we couldn’t find our shuttle driver at 6 AM!. Vlad the chef is friendly, punctual, creative, and allows for a gourmet experience at the house. Highest recommendation for this amazing villa!

I loved the open design concept of Andre's house, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the setting - tropical trees, animals, beautiful skyline. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies, taking in the breezes, watching the birds (we saw Toucans everyday). It was very peaceful. Andre's recommendations were perfect! There are a lot of hiking and mountain bike trails near by and good restaurants within driving distance. The house was well stocked. Thank you Andre's for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location. Cannot beat it. You can hear the ocean and are steps away from a gorgeous beach that is not crowded at all. My children loved the small tub on the back porch especially when it was raining. Our stay was magical!

We had a great time and enjoyed every single second at this place! Just a heads-up: we did have a few small visitors in the apartment from time to time. It’s nothing major and probably unavoidable, even with mosquito nets in place.

This is the perfect place to stay near Monteverde! Waking up to the best views we've ever had. Coming back from a long day of hiking and relaxing in the Jacuzzi was perfect. It felt like an actual tree house but really nice! The receptionists are phenomenal and will gladly help make reservations or bookings for anything you'd like during your stay.
